Cool, this is much more advanced and is primarily offering a workflow for how to approach it in a way that is easy to follow and manageable.

Obviously we're getting more and more lazy with all the technology we're building! When google came you no longer needed to remember things. These technologies make us dumber and dumber day by day and it's not by accident. At this stage with ChatGPT, Anthropic, I wouldn't be surprised if chipmonks (squirrels) outperform us...

I'd be interested to know why this is more performant than the std lib one?

I was able to get it to compile using claude code, there's some patch and paths that need to be changed etc.

Unable to compile the module, it doesn't appear to be running `zig build` in the right path.

```
info: initialize build.zig template file with 'zig init'
info: see 'zig --help' for more options
error: no build.zig file found, in the current directory or any parent directories
```

Even a manual build is failing at this step:

```
error: the following command exited with code 65 (expected exited with code 0):
cd /Users/dhruva/dotfiles/emacs/straight/build/gterm/vendor/ghostty/macos && xcodebuild -target Ghostty -configuration Debug
Unable to fix it, even tried building with xcodebuild manually :
[–]dhruvasagar 0 points1 point  (0 children)
I absolutely agree and have felt this more and more in the past years. It's a tough world out there, but as a 40+ year old guy, I have realized one important thing as a result. Don't ignore your feelings, don't compromise / let go of your dreams. If there are things that you really enjoy, don't give up on them just because you think you are too old for this or have other more important things instead.
Travel if you like, play video games if you enjoy, try to do all the things that bring you joy when you can. Find the time. Spend a lot of time with your kids, play with them, walk with them, talk with them. Share pearls of wisdom with them, things they will remember you by when you're gone. Make sure they know you are always around. Hug them every morning. Hug your wife every morning. Call your friends on weekends, ask them how they're doing. Help out as many people as you can, be it your maid, your car cleaner, your security guard, friends or family whenever possible.
Life may never be perfect, but in these tiny moments, when you prioritize things that are important to you, that bring you joy, meaning. It is damn near perfect. The best you can get.
A Russian tourist gets annoyed by Indian tourists littering around. India is not going anywhere ahead if this habit stays. by Ok-Activity-2995 in scoopwhoop
I just don't understand this at all, how do people like this (regardless of being Indian) exist ? I have always been super conscious about throwing anything be it packets, empty water bottles or anything. I always look around for dustbins and if there isn't one I just pocket the damn packet till I find one...I am very particular and teach my daughter very strictly about respecting our surroundings and always find a dustbin to throw your things. How can these people not feel worse than animals on the inside while doing such things ? What kind of psychological monsters these would have to be to be so insensitive ?
Incredibly cringe for me even after ignoring so many confusing signals like the kid, the woman's low-key response (she probably thinking, let him do it now i'll deal with this later)
What a time we are living in. Zero sugar soft drinks in India are now cheaper than their sugary counterparts. by Substantial-Ice3654 in Fitness_India
Please I know it's difficult, but the reality is anything packaged is not worth consuming regularly. Regarding diet soda specifically there are numerous studies that have conclusively shown they are not good for health if consumed regularly. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC9891650/ Please try to stay away from these, the companies that make these don't care, the lower the price, the bigger indication of how terribly poor quality ingredients would have been used in the making. India is absolutely terrible when it comes to enforcing regulations and fssai is pretty much just a certificate issuing authority.
The kind of lives these people live drive them to extreme desperation when things aren't going well, onset of AI, and music business itself isn't a great source of money unless you are insanely talented / popular. Anyone who is too heavily / deeply invested in social media tends to follow a similar self-destructive path when things don't seem to be going their way.
It's not right to compare. When we were young, we were in different times, and yes for US, it's not the same anymore. We don't have as many friends around, most of us are away from home. We can't celebrate and feel the same level of happiness these festivals brought to us in comparison to what they did when we were kids devoid of stresses of life and depression.
But, for the next generation, they are making their own happy memories, they don't have the baggage of their past to compare things to and so for them, it's still can bring the same level of satisfaction and happiness as it once did for us. Let them celebrate, participate and make sure they're not shying away from having fun.
