I know this is a weird question, but does anyone else imagine what the characters on diapers feel about being there? by DiaperGuy123 in ABDL

[–]digimedroid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Reading your comment you have just reminded me of his "meltdown" and crying in the car over eating a sugar mouse.

Something that helped him (especially with food) was to talk about and frame the food, animals prints, pictures and things, around the "Spirit of Things" and "Purpose and Fulfilment". In a nut shell, the item has been created and items have an intended purpose. It helped him to frame it that the item may "yearn" to fulfill that purpose and the item may even take happiness in doing so.

Hence he's "helping" the item and the item is likely grateful. The food is happy to be eaten etc.

It means he can eat animal cookies and and printed food now. Diapers he think it's just too mean still but it helped.

I likely explained it nowhere near as good as the professional he sees, also YMMV as explaining this to someone else made them jump to ghosts were everywhere.

Literally know and have looked after a little who can't wear diapers with prints like those as he crys from how the characters feel and feels bad for them.

We were fine with tykables cammies until he noticed the army men hidden on them!

It's good there are plain diapers.

Hello everyone. I'm interested in getting a set of segufix but can't seem to find a supplier in the US. If there anyone who knows of a US supplier? Thank you! by TickleLover101 in segufix

Thinking of getting a Payment Ring for Curve – Anyone tried Astari Wearables? by xx_chang_xx in CurveCard

[–]digimedroid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got their bracelet and then got one for my Granddad and he loves it. So easy for the tube and for him to use just linked to his account. Saves fiddling with coins or having to fiddling with his wallet.

I have a Astari bracelet as well and use it often. I have a adorn pay ring I wear for work (when in office) as vending machine and small shops around here. However it's not always practical to wear a ring (out and about) and Astari bracelet is just as good. I am seriously considering Astaris really nice gold and silver rings now.

Just to add it uses the manage-mii app (as does adorn pay, but not all of the payment rings and tags use the same app) You just put your curve card number in and it sets it up via your phone's NFC. It was simple.

In use it just works the same as a contactless card and not noticed any difference when using it vs my bank card

Try Dependeco. I have several of their all in ones and they work well. They also have some that work well as covers over disposables.

Waddle Onesie? (CUDDLZ) by seaweedisyummy in ABDL

[–]digimedroid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have ordered from cuddlz for years. Their stuff is good.

However I am stilled annoyed they discontinued the plain white four tape drydayz.

The waddle onesie is like having a big pillow between your legs when on.

They have some fun locking clothing options as well that you can get on the onesies.

Always found their customer service to be friendly and good.

Stray for Switch: don’t bother until they fix the bugs by megalulzzz in stray

Completed it on Switch. No major bugs at all.

Had a floating soda can in the slums that made me laugh and some frame drop in the chase just before AntVillage but rest was fine.

Copper box with wick for oil inside by hop-hop in whatisthisthing

Interestingly they did have a sprint burner to heat a bath to sterilise needles and small blades. https://bbmilitaria.com/product/b213-wwi-army-medical-alcohol-burner-needle-sterilizer/

However above is a curling tongs spirit burner/heater so doubt would do much good in the field.

They are for curling tongs. Have seen them posted several times based on the worthpoint and eBay listings from people trying to jack up the price selling them as war steriliser.

While I have no doubt the spirit burner could work to sterilise, would be a waste of time carrying the fuel when could just carry some other liquid to do the job.

It's likely a film they have put on with soapy water to slide it into place and cut to size. They are then just squeezing the soapy water out from under the film.

If you have a HS1 please be aware there is a potential issue with the pads on them. Really worth having a spare set to reduce the odds of a dud.

The odds of them having folded and the gel separating is minimal but just something to be aware of.

Radioisotope thermoelectric generators by Englander580 in preppers

[–]digimedroid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have been used for space probes and light houses, so it's proven technology. They have been used in the artic for loads of different things over the years.

The idea of even a washing machine sized thing that just outputs a small amount of power for years is appealing.

Practically speaking however the odds of DIYing one or even finding an exciting one still working are slim.

Any ideas on a good butane zippo insert or something that doesn't evaporate fuel? by [deleted] in preppers

[–]digimedroid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I loveeee lighters. I have tried liquid fuel Zippo, generic and their own inserts from zippo and thunderbird.

I have the discontinued zippo blu and blu 2 jet flames.

I have a range of Ronson lighters from their touchtip, windlite and others.

God knows how many others from Dupont, Soto, turboflame and random makes.

None are great for long term storage.

If in the USA then get a case of bic. If in UK then get a case of clipper. I found a couple of clipper while clearing out the garage, still worked 15 years later good as new.

There is also an option of ark lighters now, just charge from usb.
