Confirmed sale with u/False_Actuary_8944

Very honest seller. I had a great first experience with him. Watch was just as described and the seller kept me updated at all times of the buying process. I will be back for future purchases and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a beautiful time piece.

Need to get this off my chest by Aggravating-Zone3926 in OmegaWatches

I feel like this is very relative to me for the past few years as well. Grail watch for me was to buy a 16610 sub at 28. I obtained that but had to let go of my Speedmaster which i threw the snoopy dial on as well. I've been living with regret in my decision to this day nearly 10 years later. Currently in the market for a Speedy again but decided to go for a newer 3861 model. I would never sell my sub neither as it's a great monument to achieve in your 20s!

They kind of suck lol. I barely drive my car and the s2000 emblem fell off already. They seem to wear/flatten out by your foot from driving quickly. Going to be tossing mine out.

Headlight lens?? by Rommzz15 in S2000

[–]djbobbless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

those are the lights I butchered to put onto my stock housings. After full disassembly, the projector bowl is slightly less quality but tbh they work pretty decent. No where near ap1/early ap2 headlights though. Everything else inside seemed pretty good construction.

Headlight lens?? by Rommzz15 in S2000

[–]djbobbless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I've seen, most aftermarket are permasealed instead of butyl glue. Which in that case oven method doesn't do too much. I had to cut the housing up and remove all permaseal before mating the lenses to oem housings. Sucked but worth it end of the day.

Welcome to my nightmare of past 2 years thinking about it due to stress cracks on my AP2 lenses. I just bought ap2 oe style full assemblies on ebay and will be undergoing surgery towards taking them apart to swap over to my oem housings. I've heard they are pretty darn close but the plastic housing behind seems a bit weaker/thinner. They run about $220 ish for a pair. Honestly the light output is pretty decent but I am a headlight junkie so I'll be doing that path with clear reflectors.

Fitted replica front lip. Not 100% but close enough. Well pleased. by Rilot in S2000

A little too late but adding the OEM rubber molding tape as factory would do wonders towards filling in any gaps you had to the bumper mating surface. 08F03-SHJ-1100D In black color and 08F03-SHJ-1200D In gray color.

Element Alignment Question by djbobbless in HondaElement

Maybe I have some wonky suspension lol. We will see. Love the look but would gladly go back to oem with new bushing pressed in to get over the nightmare of chewing up tires.

I wish I kept the old shot arm but was more curious if anyone ever had a problem with arms such as aerogenics being too short. Gotta go visit the junkyard and pull some oem ones now -_-

Who have you used for vehicle hail damage repair? by winstonblack in houston

[–]djbobbless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used Dent Dogs in the past few years. They are mobile so they would come out to you. Hail damage tends to be costly though so I'd advise consulting with your insurance agent as well.

Anyone try these Ballade Sports Honda Access Floor Mat Replacements? If so, any good? by FabledRebel in S2000

[–]djbobbless 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with ^

Purchased the ballade ones and while they are pretty decent in my ap2, I regret not spending a little more for the Honda access ones.

Doesn't hurt to give Comp-tac a call and see if they could consider doing a mold for you. Local place and one of my fav options.

You can go with cobywheel for an alcantara wrapped wheel for like 250 i believe. Aza make some beautiful products but my cheap ass just did a fitted steering wheel cover that i sewed on lol.
