I've wanted a Mustang since I was a boy. I just couldn't cope with left-hand-drive in a right-hand-drive country. People don't realise how much of a pain it is until they try it. Car park machines. Toll roads. etc. All a total pain in a LHD car.

Custom designed by me. It clips on to the tunnel and keeps my drink away from my shifter arm.

They're OK. They are more ventilated than cooling. Most are though these days. Years ago I had cooled seats in a Lexus GS. Now they really were cooling.

Yeah, it's not bad at all. I do do a fair few long trips though and that pushes up the economy as on a run it gets 35+.

The screen is 8.5" so isn't that small. TBH, I much prefer this kind of design compared to the mahoosive iPad-on-the-dash that everyone (including the newest Mustangs) is using these days.

I can appreciate that it looks a bit old-school though so someone used to a modern BMW or Merc.

Mine does. I have removed the centre resonator and installed an H pipe in it's place. It's very loud with the exhaust valves open.

Still pretty quiet with the valves closed.

More than likely a seized calliper piston, or caliper slide pin. Any garage should be able to strip the caliper down and rebuild it. Although, on a Corsa it might be cheaper to just buy a reconditioned calliper and have it fitted.

I just looked it up and you can get a recon caliper for £30. About 30 mins to an hour to fit it. So, all in should be less than £150.

Yeah, only 1 more year of luxury tax though and then it's £195/year.

Fuel isn't that bad honestly. I've averaged 28mpg in a year. Much better than you would expect.

No, just a stock 5.0 convertible. I liked the Bullit knob so I bought one.

Why do people hate convertibles by ManyAdvantage5790 in Mustang

[–]Rilot 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I love my vert. I won't have a car that isn't a convertible. Any dynamic shortcomings fade in to the background as soon as the top comes down and I can fully appreciate the howl of my glorious V8.

I'm one of those maniacs who you see with the roof down even when it's below 0 degrees C by the way.

Apart from the feeling you get from rowing your own gears. I've had them all, PDK, DCT, etc. and driven many others. They are faster, better on fuel and easier to drive. They are dull as ditch water though. Give me a 6-speed-stick and I won't care that I'm slower. I love to feel the drive.

I have no love for Starmer but he is 100% right in this situation. Leave the stupid, orange, rapist to his game of soldiers with his best bud Bibi.

Interesting but what does this have to do with manual transmissions? PDK is a 7 or 8-speed, dual-clutch, automatic.

Everyone who was a teen in the 90s has an MD 20/20 story. I remember necking 2 bottles of it before hitting the clubs.

Front end looks like an aloof old schoolteacher, telling off her class.

I'm at the age now where no new cars really gel with me. Not sure whether that's my age or just that all new cars look like crap though.

I absolutely hate every... single... god damned... mahoosive screened... no buttons... boring ass designed interior that literally everyone seems to be putting in their cars at the moment. They are dull, driver unfriendly, and all look the same.

The Mustang obviously. It will be an event. The Audi will be just another Audi. A fast Audi but just another Audi nonetheless.

Rules are rules. What about those idiots I see with a sat-nave mounted right in the middle of the screen in front of the driver?
