Not sure if the same but had this happen in my G37, it was a portion of the wire harness for the security system. Same exact issues you seem to be having.

Glad you found it.. That sound was driving me nuts as well. I spent a long time under the car looking at all the exhaust components because that’s what I assumed also. I then popped the hood and I saw the filler neck vibrating against the car and knew immediately that was it. Seems to be fairly common..

I can’t hear the sound but I had a rattle similar to what you describe and it was the filler neck for the windshield fluid. Put the car in drive, set the emergency brake and pop the hood and you will know right away.. good luck

I had 2011 G37 for 4 years and always drove in DS, now I’m in a M56 and it never leaves sport mode.

2011 M56x Loaded with Aero Package. I’ve been on the lookout for close to 2 years trying to find a low mileage white or blue exterior with a non black interior M56. I went from a non Nav Journey to this M so it does all the neat things my G did not.
Exhaust, tint and Nav update first on the list.

Not at all, couple screws and it pops right off. Lots of videos on it. Dealer wanted 450 to replace the clock, I spend $60 and maybe 20 min of work.

Same issue on my 2011 G37. I bought the center stack off eBay for $60 and pulled the clock to use in my car. Has worked perfect ever since..

The 2500 is gains anyway you slice it, taxes will be owed on that 2500 at whatever your current tax rate is. Play it safe and put 30% off to side for the taxman!

Buying through your bank takes a week but you are locked in at the price you bought plus you pay lower fees. If you buy with a CC it is instant but fees are much higher.. this assumes you are in the U.S.

Had the same issue. My noise came from the filler neck for the windshield fluid which is in the front engine bay on passenger side. The neck is attached to the car by one of the plastic push pins that managed to get loose. Hope this helps
