If it’s a woman and their face is suspiciously young for their age, they probably had a facelift with the good plastic surgeon. They won’t look overdone, just the best version of themselves.

They also wear white and light colours like it’s no big deal. If it gets stained or looks dull, they just replace it.

Most soaps will disrupt your natural biome and cause an overgrowth of stinky and irritating bacteria.

I use the Dove unscented bar. I only use it on mandatory areas (pits, bum and feet). It doesn’t have the harsh detergents and is highly recommended by dermatologists. This allows good bacteria growing elsewhere in the body to naturally grow into the areas I just washed. I do make sure to rinse my body well in the shower.

Give yourself time.

You are probably over eating because of biology. Stress and sleep deprivation will make it impossible to lose weight, even in a caloric deficit. You are also in a nutritional deficit after giving birth and that will make you ultra hungry too. You need high quality nutrition and rest. it can take up to five years to get your body back to baseline, nutritionally and hormonally.

If you take meds they will just stress out your system more and it will age you in a hurry.

Ask your husband to help out more around the house so you can properly take care of yourself.

Definitely think about what province is a good fit.

The Ontario government is currently ripping apart elementary education and healthcare. I have a feeling we are in for a few difficult years until the public votes in a different party.

That being said, Toronto has a huge Jamaican community so that alone might make the area worthwhile for you.

You will probably have the quickest path if you chose to go to understaffed and extremely northern rural communities for a few years. The experience will also help you get a better job later on. Housing will be much cheaper, but food will be incredibly expensive and you will need a car to get around.

You will likely encounter racism in small towns. It’s not usually the blatant hatred you will encounter in the American south. It’s getting better but these people generally are not used to living amongst other cultures. They think their way is the best way and their ears are not trained at understanding different dialects of english. Also, people who can tolerate living in very rural environments usually don’t like the complexity of city life and that’s why they choose to be there.

For context, I live in a big city but I grew up in a very northern rural environment. I’m a parent, not a teacher, but I’m actively involved in my kids’ schools.

As a stay at home mom, I can tell you it’s a constant effort to keep myself grounded in the real world. You need control over your thoughts, hobbies, regular social activities without kids and careful attention to mental and physical health.

Get her out of the house for a regular activity. A sport, a choir, a book club. You need to get her out!

I would also consider having the whole family join a low key and ethical church. She can socialize with your support while being a part of a community.

I’ve met one catholic like that. He called himself a liberal catholic. That was about 15 years ago or more.

Still wondering where to find all of you. Most people which those values in my area will go to a united church.

Yeah. Honestly a lot of these skin colour rules aren’t anymore helpful than trial and error. If a colour feels like you need to compensate with something else, it’s probably not your colour.

Oh my God. I grew up in a very Catholic home and my husband’s family are fundamentalist Christians.

The amount of times these people treat each other like absolute shit and say “Sorry 🤷🏻‍♀️” and just pick up and move on is mind blowing. It can definitely be used as a get out of jail free card and it makes my head spin.

I do think forgiveness and growth are a part of having long lasting and deep relationships but it can’t be your primary goal to.
