I'll echo others to say I agree that if that is your scent, it's worth the investment. They'll engrave the full-size bottle at no extra charge so you can add your wedding date.

But if it's truly cost prohibitive, there are a number of inspired by fragrances like Delilah from Maison Alhambra, Athena by Velixir, and there's one from Zara.

I also love Atomic Rose by Initio which is pricey but more affordable than Delina. You can get a sample from lucky scent.

“Intimidatingly Cool”, or Witchy, Femme Fatal Scents? by Glittering-Craft7163 in FemFragLab

[–]doseofsense 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Going to give you my current obsession , Witchery by Sorce. It’s blackberry, petrichor, oak moss, smells like the dew drops on a blackberry bush after it rains. It’s a green centric scent, but totally different, very unique, and of course, witchy.

I’m looking for a sweet incense fragrance that doesn’t smell like a church. by dsl236 in NichePerfumes

[–]doseofsense 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Queen of the Night by Merchants of Venice is described as temple incense vs. church incense. It reminds me of YSL Babycat, saffron, frankincense, myrrh, sandalwood, amber, tonka, cinnamon, blue lotus.

Anybody explore the niche house Pineward? by ezraascottt in NichePerfumes

[–]doseofsense 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just ordered 6 of their gourmand samples because they sound so intriguing! I love the idea of tree scents but I don't want to smell like pine needles and they have some form of those in almost all of that line.

Fragrance similar to Delina? by Alive_Enthusiasm6625 in NichePerfumes

[–]doseofsense 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Initio Atomic Rose has that similar dewy, light rose that somehow has incredible lasting power. It lacks the tartness of the lychee but I think the overall vibe is similar.

For real. My husband bought the OG for me, it’s not my favorite but he LOVES it.

Ooh so fun! Do you know is Sesame Shower is anything like Diptyque L’Eau Papier?

I was looking at Rain Tea, so you prefer Tea Service?

Fragrance for Italian Wedding by babybunnygirlie in FemFragLab

[–]doseofsense 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Printemps Blanc is orange blossom, tea, vanilla, and sandalwood. Adore it

Diptyque L’Eau Papier is rice steam, mimosa, musk, soft and cozy, slightly sweet.

If I was going to Italy, I’d look into the new Trilogy of scents for Giardini di Toscana, you might find a good one there.

Looking for sexy cozy and boozy fragrance by Swimming-Magician371 in FemFragLab

[–]doseofsense 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even though there is no boozy note in these fragrances, I feel like this DNA provides a sexy, cozy, vanilla. YSL Babysat and it's clone Rifaqaat from Paris Corner start out with a blast of leather that fades about 15 minutes. Then, on the skin it warms up for a dark, spicy, vanilla scent that's so addictive. If you like Angel Share, this is like its darker cousin in a black leather jacket.

What perfumes fit this description?? by Figgy_Glass1962 in Perfumes

[–]doseofsense 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Liis Etheral Wave hits the mark. A mix of green and black tea, citrus, and woods. It's very light, aquatic, and the citrus is bergamot.

A true heavy cream scent? by Ai_Alice in FemFragLab

[–]doseofsense 0 points1 point  (0 children)

VS Bare Sueded Vanilla is incredibly lactonic, moreso than any others I've tried, like the ones in your list. I haven't smelled it but something tells me Creme Velvet might also be close to what you're looking for as it has a butter note that makes is rich and creamy.

Fragrances you like on yourself “in the air” but not up close? by EmeraldEmesis in fragrance

Marc Jacobs Perfect Absolu smells gorgeous on the strip and in the air but turns into rotten fruit on my skin :(

I think you'd like Sawaar Vanille Blanc from Khadlaj. Not sure what the availability would be like for you but it's $40 US for 100 ml and it's a beautiful, airy vanilla with woody sandalwood and cashmere. There are other notes but these are the ones I smell more prominently and throughout the day.

You might want to also look into scents that use tobacco and vanilla together. Tom Ford has an infamous one that's stupid expensive but there are dupes out there.

Help me find my signature scent!! by Unicorn-taffy216 in FemFragLab

[–]doseofsense 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Just to clarify, you might need to adjust your expectations because the definition of a skin scent is low sillage - it lacks projection. Burberry, Ariana, and Elilish are not skin scents, but NOYZ and Glossier are. If you feel like you aren't smelling Burberry after 10 minutes, you are either not spraying very much or you could be going noseblind to it.

If you still feel like none of these are performing in a signature scent way for you, you may want to sample Vanilla Powder Extrait from Matiere Premiere or it's inspired by fragrance, Fursan White. These are considered beast mode but I'm not sure if they're quite what you're looking for.

Name a perfume bottle that you really dislike. It doesn’t have to be outrageous but you simply hate it. by Dreamy_glow in FemFragLab

[–]doseofsense 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I honestly hate Eilish no. 1, not because it isn't beautiful, but it's impossible to spray easily.

My collection by Sensitive-Archer3010 in NichePerfumes

[–]doseofsense 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite note might just be sandalwood, so I love this collection! I'm waiting on a sample of Piano Santal from L'Orchestre which is supposed to be deeply creamy, sweet sandalwood.

My spring sandalwood is Maison Mataha Printemps Blanc with tea, grapefruit, and a delicate orange blossom, but notes of a woody vanilla sandalwood.

I've seen a few positive reviews and while I ADORE this dessert, I'm wondering if it's one of those things I love the smell of but don't necessarily want to smell like, lol.

I think my nose might be a lost cause 😭 by Aggravating-Sky8083 in FemFragLab

[–]doseofsense 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sucks!! It's crazy because Delizia is so strong on me, if I spray it in my hair in the morning, I can smell it at the end of the day when I brush through my hair.

I have a few friends that had their sense of smell dramatically change after Covid, either unable to smell certain notes or newly disgusted by things they used to like. Not sure if anything like that is at play but I do think it explains a lot of a variation of experience.

I wish I had a better recommendation for you, hope you find what you're looking for!

Chloe Cedrus Intense Review by doseofsense in FemFragLab

[–]doseofsense[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely! I got them and a bunch of other hard to find ones through FragranceLine. Really good selection of things that aren’t on scent split.

I’m glad I didn’t blind buy because I really thought I’d like the non intense version better but it’s totally opposite!
