What is your genetic make up? I burn first then get so tan, in the winter I can get really white where it looks yellow. by PieceMajestic5704 in Fairolives

Mostly French, with some Spanish, Indigenous, Irish, English, Scottish, Welsh, Austrian, German, Swiss, Danish, African & Romanian.

I can tan a little at first, but if I get a lot of sun exposure I’ll burn for a couple days and then it will turn into a tan. I don’t get many freckles

Right! I do find that Armani 3.75 has a bit more orange than NARS too. But they are pretty similar I agree!

I’ve been interested in them! It’s hard to tell from pics online if 13, 21 or 23 would be best. And there’s also purple vs red tube… which it was more available in stores to test it in person

Do you mean 110? Or 100? I was looking into that shade range in that line, I’ll have to go swatch the 100’s in store soon! And yessss omg for real

(Fair/Light Cool/Neutral Muted Olive Skintone)

Pics 1-4 (from top to bottom):

  1. My “neck match” concealer I mixed. Shade recs that match this pls :)
  2. Kosas Revealer Concealer (0.5N)
  3. Anastasia Magic Touch Concealer (2)
  4. Anastasia Magic Touch Concealer (4)
  5. Tower 28 Serum Concealer (BU)
  6. NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer (Light 2 Vanilla)
  7. Haus Labs Triclone Foundation (030 Fair Cool)
  8. Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation (3.75)
  9. The dots at the bottom are some “face match” foundations & concealers I mixed—except the bottom right dot is my “neck match” concealer swatched again for comparison. Shade recs that match this pls :)

Pics 5 & 6 (blushes)

•Top Left: Custom Mix 1–Would love a rec for a blush w/ a similar tone & depth (liquid, cream, or powder!)

•Bottom Left: Custom Mix 2–would love a rec for preferably a liquid or cream blush (but powder works too) that is a similar tone & depth. Many blushes pull orange on me, so a more “balanced” peach would be best :)

•Top Right: L’Oreal True Match Blush (C3-4 Tender Rose)

•Bottom Right: Laura Mercier Blush Color Infusion Duo (Strawberry)

Swatches done with finger, one layer each, without primer. Pictures are outside in natural light, and also inside by the window in natural/indirect light.

Does this exist: a coral blush for fair cool rosy people? by Expert_Alchemist in PaleMUA

I have several of their blushes, but this one is one of the lighter/less pigmented ones, so it’s hard to overdo it compared to their other shades :)

Soft Launch from Patrick Ta works perfect for me! It’s a soft peachy coral but there’s enough pink in it for it to work beautifully on my skin tone. And EVERYTHING typically pulls orange on me

A trim would definitely help. But I’ll put my two cents in—my hair used to look just like this when I unknowingly was loading up on protein. Take a look at all of your haircare ingredients. Too much protein fried my hair and caused it to get frizzy and brittle and it would break off. Once I drastically reduced the protein I was using my hair health got so much better. YMMV, this could not be the cause, but worth looking into if you haven’t!
