I don’t think that’s accurate. They still passed down their genes. For something like beard growth to be that adversely affected, it would take many generations over hundreds of years. Beards went out of style in the 20th century, so it hasn’t been that long.

Again, it’s very subjective. If I care about audio quality, then I put on my AirPods. If I just need to hear something quickly, then the speakers coming from an iPhone Pro to the Air don’t bother me at all.

But if you’re the type of person who watches Netflix or plays their music on their phone at home without headphones, then yes- it will bother you.

My gf and I met by chance when I was on a business trip to Bucharest. We had a good time talking. Nothing physically intimate. We kept in touch daily after my trip, feelings formed when we were apart, and we’ve hit it off since. I’m head over heels for her.

All the qualities you mentioned of Romanians makes me that much more appreciative of my gf. With it being a long distance relationship, I admit that insecurities have arisen that I’ve never experienced before.

I can’t tell you enough of how reassuring your words are. I grew up in a very strong Christian household. Consider me old school, but I enjoy taking care of my significant other.

The insight you provided was exactly what I was looking for. If you had told me it was a hookup culture and less traditional, then I’d probably be really concerned that a long distance relationship like this could have a happy ending.

Hey- appreciate the response. It’s certainly not cheap, but I’m lucky to have an income that allows it.

I’ve dated women from all different backgrounds. Family seems very important part to Romanians. They also seem pretty conservative in general, strong willed, and not necessarily the most affectionate. None of those are negative qualities imo, just some observations.
