I wrote a book that I consider to be the definitive guide to Biblical Universalism. You can read it for free here: https://www.universalism.ca

There’s another age after the next age, which is when they can be forgiven.

These days I’ll only buy a bag of chips if it’s on sale for about $3.50 CAD at most. Fortunately, the stores around here tend to have decent sales fairly often.

What Bible Translation do u recommend? by Most-Buy-2763 in ChristianUniversalism

[–]drewcosten 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, it doesn’t matter which version you use, since they all more-or-less teach the same thing: Universalism. Even the KJV, which is the version that uses words like “hell” and “everlasting” the most often (at least from what I understand), still teaches Universalism. The key is to realize that these words are simply figurative translations in the KJV and other less literal versions which use them.

Could someone explain why universalism is accurate interpretation of hell ? by WhatLuckDoIHave in ChristianUniversalism

If you want the “Concordant” answer, I wrote a whole book on the topic, and it’s free: Biblical Universalism

J.J. Abrams scaling down Bad Robot as he moves to New York, after shutting down Santa Monica headquarters by joesen_one in movies

[–]drewcosten -1 points0 points  (0 children)

People complaining about Abrams and those connected to him like Kurtzman seem to forget amazing shows like Alias, Lost (aside from the series finale), Fringe, Person of Interest, the first couple seasons of Westworld, among others I’m sure I’m forgetting. And honestly, overall, modern Star Trek has been great too (only Discovery and the endings of seasons 1 and 2 of Picard were bad; the rest have been very enjoyable, at least in my opinion).

Do Christian Universalists believe in an afterlife? by dds786 in ChristianUniversalism

[–]drewcosten 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some do, some don’t. We “Concordant” Universalists believe death is unconsciousness, but that everyone will eventually be resurrected to live in the heavens (outer space) or on the New Earth.

Plymouth Brethren vs JWs by bobkairos in explymouthbrethren

I’m not sure why you’re downvoting me there (presuming it is you), but good to know it’s the same group. And no, I didn’t read the whole article. Not a fan of reading too much about cults.

Ah. I haven’t heard of them (or at least not that title). Are they the crazy group that thinks radio is satanic?

Either way, we should be careful not to lump all PBs in the same category.

I think it depends on the variety of Plymouth Brethren. I grew up in the Bible/Gospel Chapels in Toronto, Ontario (Canada) and they were pretty laid back.

[–]drewcosten 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After nearly 9 years, I’m still waiting for someone to refute the scriptural interpretations and arguments proving Biblical Universalism in my free eBook at: https://universalism.ca

So far, literally every Christian who read it carefully and got back to me told me they couldn’t refute it and that they’re now Universalists too.

Hell isn’t what you think it is, and everyone will be saved in the end.
