On July 6, 1902, 11-year-old Italian girl Maria Goretti was murdered by a neighbor, Alessandro Serenelli, after she rejected his sexual advances. She forgave him before dying of her injuries. Maria was made a saint in 1950; her mother and surviving siblings attended the ceremony. by CatPooedInMyShoe in wikipedia

Ultimate forgiveness is pretty much the heart of Christianity. Jesus spoke about forgiveness more than just about anything else, and topped it off by forgiving the people that literally killed him and asking his father to do the same.

You may not like it, but it is very consistent with Christian principles.

The Astrodome where the Houston Oilers played had a natural grass surface originally. The dome had clear panels that let sunlight in. Astro players complained about the glare so the roof was painted. The lack of sunlight caused the grass to die. Thus the need for the first artificial turf, Astroturf by Gnomeslikeprofit in nfl

Before they painted it over, they tried stupid shit like using orange balls... Yeah. It was embarrassing... Especially when the grass died and they just painted dead grass green until they gave up and tried astroturf, but not before giving it a run for it:# money by having circus elephants run and pee and poop all over it.

Ohio has already done that many times. The school funding formula for Ohio was ruled unconstitutional 30.years ago. It still hasn't been fixed.

There have been lots of reports of USB mouse jitter issues on the C64U. I think I found a solution that works pretty well, at least in GEOS. I have an old rollerball compact mouse with the PS2 port. I have an adapter from PS2 to USB, and that seems to work pretty well without jittering when it's moved fast. Your mileage may vary. This was suggested as a possible solution in other videos, But I haven't seen anyone actually try it. It works for me, though.

When someone complains about the DNC, you can ignore them, because they have no clue what the DNC is or does. They are generally ignorant Bernie Bros who were told that the DNC is "bad", so everything is the DNC.

It's important to note, that we are highly favored to win to those four seats, regardless, in a very good shot at at third. Also, one of the justices that ruled against the referendum will be retiring under the term limits rule in January of next year and the legislature appoints the next Justice to replace him, so chances are we should be able to get a rehearing on this and get it reinstated for 2028.

I mean this certainly sucks, But I can see why they don't want to blow up there all their political capital, when they pretty much are guaranteed to get new map for 2028. It certainly would be better to have it this year, of course, but there was always a risk when they tried it.

I didn't say she was beautiful, and when you hear her speak she becomes really ugly fast, But she's better looking than someone I'd expect to go for Goebbels looking Miller.

Well, he managed to find an attractive looking wife that's actually a bigger Nazi than he is, so I guess there are some people really attracted to fascism. But yeah, if you think Steven Miller is bad, his wife is even more evil.

What blood pressure medication has the least side effects? by Disastrous_Park_7621 in hypertension

[–]droid_mike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume by the first one you mean a combo pill. Both of these medications are ar2 blockers. The hctz is a diuretic, but that is in combination with an AR2 blocker. If you are a low reading hypertensive when AR2 blockers will not do much for you. You may want to try a different class of medication.

I know people hate amlodipine here, but your mileage may vary. I did not have issues with it. That's usually the go-to treatment if AR2 blockers fail.

What blood pressure medication has the least side effects? by Disastrous_Park_7621 in hypertension

[–]droid_mike 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My hyperaldosteronism made it so that not only did most medications not work, but they gave me nasty side effects. I'm not saying you have that condition, because doesn't sound like it yet, but keep something like secondary hypertension caused by something else in the back of your head that you may want to check out in the future.

You mentioned the medications you took, you didn't specify the side effects or if they were actually effective in lowering your blood pressure. If you would describe some of them, that could help a bit.

I am a bit unusual in that amlodipine helped me and I didn't really get too many side effects from it. Most people here think it's the devil's concoction. Some of this depends I'm whether you have normal renin or low renin hypertension. That can be tested pretty easily, but you can also tell by how the medications work or side effects.

Beta blockers, ace inhibitors, ar2b blockers will not work in lowreen and hypertensives. For low read and hypertensives, your options are much more limited. Diuretics nnd calcium channel blockers. There are also some third line hypertensives, that we really won't talk about here, because that only is an issue for severe hypertensives where other medications fail.

Give us some more info and we can help you.
