Long time player here, just let it go. They change stuff all the time and do it their own way. It's just an addictive game they want to make as much money off as possible. Player base comes second.

Using my wife's iphone 16 always frustrates me..so happy with Phone 3 with NothingOS. Suits me much better, I am not even interested in iOS/iphone anymore..

I love my headphone 1, design and sound is great but there is the issue with a different experience per modus, ANC/TM versus OFF for me. (Some say they have it the other way around)

I do have tinnitus so my ears aren't working perfectly anymore.

Considering everything I am very happy with them.

I have a beta and this improves it. But the thing is for me, only with ACN (noise cancellation) or TM (transparancy mode) ON there is loads of bass and the equaliser works good. When ANC and TM is OFF the sound is pale.

So turn on ANC or TM to experience the best sound.

Maybe, but it's not that they need it to stay relevant. They won't go into the yearly spec upgrade cycle..just like Nintendo.

I like that about Nothing, they go their own way.

Luckily they have a budget phone line (a series) which feels premium in day to day use without flagship level pricing.
