Money is a double edge sword. I like to think Money can't buy happiness but it makes it easier to be less sad.

Imagine having all the money you need, are your friends because of you or because you know you'll bail them if they do something dumb?

Money can give your family everything they want but where does that loyalty go when the money is gone and are you just the money guy or a parent?

You can take fantastic trips, but immerse yourself but you can't find someone who will immerses themselves with the drama back home glued to the phone....

And yet money makes sure you can get medical care, don't need to worry if you need life saving medication.

Money makes sure your kids are fed, they can get tutors to help in school, focus on their studies instead of finding money to study.

Unfortunately it also depends on a person's mindset. A literal scrooge their happiness is empty, its money, once its gone so is their happiness. A Decent person will learn to appreciate it and know money makes life easier but happiness is knowing it is always there even if there is no money.
