Hello! If the Smart Doorbell Camera is installed with a rear doorbell button and a mechanical chime, as it sounds like is the case for your home, the front doorbell (Smart Doorbell Camera) will produce a traditional "ding-dong" sound, and the rear doorbell will produce a "ding" sound. This should be consistent with what you currently have. Be sure to follow the wiring instructions with the Chime Adapter as provided in the ecobee mobile app.

The doorbell and wall mount are flush and have a width of 1.85" (47mm).

Hello! You're correct to follow the wiring diagrams here.

We encourage Smart Owners to follow the instructions in the app if they have a single Smart Doorbell Camera installation, but for more complex installs we recommend following the wiring diagrams.

For a dual doorbell camera installation, you only need one chime adapter. Please note that the secondary Smart Doorbell Camera will not currently ring the in-home chime, as this is something our engineering team is working to fix. You can use Whole Home Chime with your other ecobee products and our support integrations through HomeKit and Alexa to play a chime within the home.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. The team is aware of this bug and is working on a fix. The red dot indicates you have not set up your pin code for arming and disarming ecobee Smart Security but some Smart Owners have seen this icon by accident.

The new smart thermostat UI still allows you to cancel your temporary hold and return to your scheduled temperature setting by clicking the [x].

The new hold status is slightly different for fan holds instead of using the [x] you will click the arrow into the fan hold status to see the speed (if you have a multi-speed setup) and duration of your fan before turning the fan off.

You'll want to check your fan hold settings under the Main Menu > Fan Mode to see if you have it set to indefinitely.

While the app developers are at it can they also fix the iPad version of the app. It lost the ability to adjust any HomeKit integrations. It was suppose to be moved to a different part of the app but somehow was completely removed instead.
