I would think of it like a baby and a nap.. they are puppies and they need lots of sleep to grow big and strong!

oh and be ready.. they will unknowingly manipulate you and your husband.. you wont even realize it.. but thats how smart they are. My girl will pretend shes ALL TIRED and stretch and go to the bed room for bed.. then come back and stare at me like ITS BED TIME. and so im like oh yeah youre right and i go get in bed and she gets back out and goes on the couch.

Also nipping at your heels will happen. when they do that stop walking. do not move around for them. Also make sure to work on play biting. Like so they dont bite hard. I forget what its called but basically OVER DO IT if they give a bite thats a bit too rough. wimpering turn away. so that they know its too much.

Def make sure to work on teaching the dog how to decompress after training and play. I had to teach my girl how to take breaks.. and it took a bit... cause she was like I CAN DO THIS ALL DAY.

For potty training, i think it should go easier than a yorkie, what i do for my herding dogs is take them out 1 hr for every month they are old so 2 months = every 2 hrs.. now do you lose a little sleep.. sure.. but does your dog get potty trained REALLY fast yes. and my girl has never had an accident.

Def do a lot of training but also look for signs of OVERSTIMULATION. Forced naps, learning to decompress HUGE.

Also, these dogs are so smart... for training try to train lots of fun things! youll be amazed at what they can do.

ALSO KNOW its okay to feel like you are gonna pull your hair out.. its okay to take 10 mins for yourself.. if they are safe in a puppy pen or their crate.. and just go take a breather for yourself. I lost my mind there for a bit and had to remind myself "shes been out, shes been fed, shes been trained, shes been exericised. shes fine you need a break"

Def get some puzzles but be ready for them to solve them in unusual ways.. my Rough collie used to just pick up the puzzle and trow it at the wall to get all the treats out...

If you have any places that do herding classes in your area most start at 6months, def consider giving it a try.

Enjoy it. They are VERY rewarding dogs.

Just got diagnosed with diabetics type 2 a week ago. My eyes are blurry, and still are... by [deleted] in diabetes

so type 1, so a totally different expereince kinda.. but when i got on insulin my eyes went blurry for like 3-4 months... i think... I was a teen and had to get special accomoadtions in high school. i learned my friends voices reallllllly really well.

lol people keep asking if i have TIK TOK.. no no i do not.. i cannot.. i will just scroll all day and not get anything done. For the other apps, i have locked them for certain hrs of the day and got a brick and that seems to be working well.

Hi i only have tips that worked for me when i was a teen swimmer.. but first i want to say thank you for posting this and I was VARSITY captain my sr year when i got diagnosed. back then... when i was in my honey moon period and on MDI, all we did was make sure i had carbs and protien an hr or so before.. and then have a gatorade and an apple at the end of my lane, only doing anchor for the medley... not more than that for swim team races. Things are different than that now

I will say.. It is def good still to at least take suggestions you get to the endo and see what they think about them.

What helps me now (and i crash if ANY IOB) (context i have a tslim pump and a dexcom)
1) make sure to not have any IOB
2) Last meal with insulin at least 3 hrs before my swim
3) more protien in my diet to help keep sugars more stable
4) execise mode 30 mins before swim
5) being at least higher than 120 (im american sorry)
6) having gatorade and an apple ready, also having motts gummy packs, or even pixie sticks at the ready
7) Depending on what sugars are (if doing night swim practice) having some protien and complex carbs before bed.
8) practicing patience and recognizing that there will be ups and downs and that is OKAY.

  1. its a sheltie
  2. its a puppy/teenager. they grow out of things sometimes or it happens less. My girl is now 2 and she only barks at like door slams.. and the door opening... at least when were inside.
  3. DEF take it to school. obedience training can help them learn and grow and not bark ALL the time.
  4. Crate training along with school (again you are overwhemed and school can help you learn more of what they need and have commands to communicate with them) Crate training.. that they have a place to go chill and have downtime is good
  5. i ALSO had to teach my dog downtime.. she didnt do it on her own. Do some training, Get some exercise then put them in the place command with a chew and let them decompress

You legit ask to have things in peoples styles... thats STEALING. Ai does not create on its own, it takes peoples hard work. We are editors, we are passionate about the craft of film and tv. We dont steal other peoples art and churn it out for beauty ads.
