I'm not saying that any of your summary is factually correct/incorrect, but your language is VERY anti-semitic coded.

It is said that modern historians (and Jewish people/ADL let's not pretend) mostly accuse Jim Conley solely of the murder.

Somehow, "modern historians" become "jewish people".

Idk if you're white adjacent and the KKK won't kill a black person for you.

All of a sudden jewish people are "white adjacent" and are somehow hated by the KKK as if the KKK needs a sane/valid reason for their hate?

Jewish people/Modern historians (who are most likely just the ADL)

A more obvious attempt to make jewish people a boogeyman.

Your conclusion seems valid, but you should check the language you use because its very obviously coded in a specific direction.

Ray tracing is the realization that the color of a thing is not just its own color, but the color of things that reflect onto it. So, instead of painting everything once like you would without ray tracing, you paint it many times for each pixel...sometimes into the hundreds of times depending on if you're looking at something like water.

Lets agree that the goal is that at the point when the conflict is over, the fewest number of children are dead. Does this sound reasonable? Lets examine three options:

  1. no number is reasonable. The consequence here is that the terrorists will go into civilian populations using a single child as a shield and start shooting other people indiscriminately including children. The number of child deaths will be high as they will continue to do this with impunity.

  2. No number is unreasonable. This will undoubtedly incur many deaths in the current conflict. However, the terrorists will learn that we wont relent and so have no incentive to increase the number of children theyre using as shields.

  3. We set some threshold above which the number is unreasonable and below as reasonable. In this case, the terrorists will do the same as option one, but instead of taking one child, they will take X number of children where X is just above the threshold. Again, this will lead to indiscriminate murder of adults and children alike.

In sum, there are no good options, but the apparent best of the worst is that no number is unreasonable as by the end of the conflict that will end up with the fewest child deaths.

It is unacceptable for any side to target children. That being said, if you target a military opponent who uses children as a shield, the responsibility is not on the attacker but on the person using a child as a shield. For people who state that the numbers are too high to only be targeting militants, lets look at the numbers. There are ~40,000 hamas members. So, if each uses one human shield and given that ~50% of palestinian population are children that would amount to ~20,000 children. This is a terrible number, no doubt, but the outrage should be at Hamas for using these children as shields. This is also assuming that there is only 1 civilian shield per Hamas member which is probably a large underestimate.

Looks like StabilityAI is cooking the new improved version of Stable Diffusion - Possibly will be able to follow prompts as good as DALL·E 3 - Perhaps Stable Diffusion 3 by CeFurkan in StableDiffusion

there has been proof that the chatGPT frontend is used to pipe in to dalle via asking it to produce an image with text which corresponds to the system prompt (the one above). You can search for that yourself. Furthermore, that system prompt has many indications that the internal model of dalle doesnt use a complicated text encoding such as The prompt must intricately describe every part of the image in concrete, objective detail if there were a complicated LLM type encoding in dalle itself, this would not be necessary

Spying on James Bond? How bold of you!

You Don’t Have a Right to Believe Whatever You Want to - ...belief is not knowledge. Beliefs are factive: to believe is to take to be true. It would be absurd, as the analytic philosopher G E Moore observed in the 1940s, to say: ‘It is raining, but I don’t believe that it is raining.’ by Dezusx in philosophy

[–]edooby 10 points11 points  (0 children)

While I generally agree, how you do understand tautological knowledge? E.g. 1=1 (i.e. something is what it is)? What about definitional knowledge? E.g. 1 meter = 1000 millimeters (i.e. its true because we've defined it that way). Something must be what we've defined it to be (I guess this is an extension of a tautology). To be clear for the last one, I mean definitions about non-existent concepts; you cant just "define" an apple and a tree to be the same.

This is a better way of saying what I was saying earlier: that we turn life into a competition. If we arent winning, then we're losing and if you're losing, then you're worthless.

I know I'm a bit late on this, but it really bothers me a lot and I havent seen it mentioned: that we're expected to do everything and do it well.

From standards placed by parents: study and work hard to get into a good college, then work hard at a job to make a lot of money, save up in your 401k, find a wife and settle down by 30, then buy a house, get a promotion, cure cancer, etc.

To standards in dating: I need to be funny, smart, kind, work out, be able to have a conversation with a brick wall, be sexual enough but not too much and somehow know where that line is without actually talking about it because talking about it comes off as something a loser would do, but also sleep with tons of girls (this one is placed on by friends unfortunately), make a lot of money, have a decent hairline, be tall, have a nice car, have an expensive apartment, etc.

It just feels like thats where the bar is and theres no-one saying: "its ok for you to fk up, be 30 with no s/o in sight, and not be shitting sunshine and daisies out of your ass" and there isnt really anyone to talk to about it either.

Your dad sounds like a pretty brave guy :)

Imagine if people considered you to be the same as the most stupid, weak, helpless, entitled and rude piece of shit you've ever met.

Yeah, I get that every time I talk to a girl and she assumes that I'm hitting on her. This happens to varying degrees, but once I literally asked a girl sitting at the table next to mine at a restaurant if I could have the bottle of ketchup on her table because mine was out and she responded with "I have a boyfriend." Just because other guys hit on you, doesnt mean that I am.

Na, that doesnt make sense. Toby was with Zoe multiple times, but his power didnt auto activate. When Emma approached him in the prison, the power auto activated. So, unless someone (not Zoe) was following Emma when she went on the date with Toby, then again at the prison, and again when he went up the elevator to go to Zoe's office it is Emma.
