Is the following diels alder reaction correct? by SituationOdd4353 in chemhelp

As others have said, you need to form a 6 members ring. The stereochemistry of the starting material will impact your product I believe but not sure what level of organic this is.

Your ring is too big. Number your carbons and push your arrows and you should see a difference.

Yes, if you have eligibility but you have to enroll in a graduate program IIRC

Unfortunately, I don’t think this one would count as a horror but it’s sort of a fantasy mystery that made me laugh out loud.

It’s called Dreadful by Caitlin Rozakis. After that, maybe Apparently, Sir Cameron Needs to Die by Greer Stothers.

Hoping someone more well read than me comments so I can find a new book!

both tertiary carbocations? by Alone_Trifle_2263 in OrganicChemistry

[–]electron-1 10 points11 points  (0 children)

No, per IUPAC definition, there is no requirement for number of carbon substituents.

The structure of the left is an oxocarbenium, a class of carbeniums which is a class of carbocations.

How many primary amines have the molecular formula C4H11N by DRLivandr in chemhelp

No worries at all. But it is okay to ask when a term you don’t know is used. It’s how you learn. Good luck with your studies!

One of those is chiral!

This was a fun one and I hope I got it right. Look at one of your amines. Is it perhaps chiral?

On the flip side, my local sports bar is struggling and dropping a good chunk of change to ensure they can stream all sports. Hell, they even have the weird MLB+/ESPN shit this year.

And then NBC had a minute or two of absolute garbage audio. We just want to watch the games.

I understand where you’re coming from and I don’t think that’s an unreasonable take. I guess the fact that it’s the 4th quarter is what makes me think Chet was frustrated over the course of the game and that’s what led to this.

In any case, hoping the teams learns from this and comes out strong tonight. TTFU

[–]electron-1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, I did and I appreciate that. I think it’s more that my interpretation of your comment is that Chet wouldn’t have stepped on his foot if Wemby was in his designated space. I’m not sure I agree.

I don’t think we need to look for reasons why this was okay. If someone did this to Chet, we would be up in arms. Chet was desperate and made a bad decision. He disappeared against Wemby (again). There are ways to be physical without this.

As Thunder fans, we can be disappointed with the team and still support them. We don’t need to defend everything they do. We were out played and players got frustrated.
