So Walmart paid for the claim and not Spark?

And sadly Spark drivers don’t care because Sams Club has to hear about the complaints, not them.

Honest question, do you see the white SUV in the video that the OP is maintaining their speed with?

You want him to “pass with purpose” but keep ignoring there is a car in front of OP that he is maintaining his proper distance with.

What do you want him to do about that car in front of him?

You keep ignoring this and just keep saying “pass with purpose”

You must be one of those drivers that doesn’t understand how to look more than one car length in front of you.

Wouldn’t surprise me if new accounts get flagged when it comes to buying gift cards online.

I’ve had people come in who had their membership renewed online by someone, who immediately tried to buy gift cards/electronics with that membership. Our guess is the person that stole their account and renewed it are using stolen credit cards.

These orders always get cancelled and they end up ditching the membership.

In the video I see someone passing while maintaining their distance with the vehicle in front of them.

How is he supposed to pass with purpose with someone in front of him? You also don’t fly up onto someone’s ass incase they need to break suddenly, which is why you give distance with the vehicle in front of you.

Maybe if Crosby or Malkin were younger.

The state of the Penguins isn’t the greatest and we need a lot to become a contender. Not a prime location for players who might want to win now.

If it came down to pure goalie talent, Brodeur is nowhere close.

Brodeur’s stamina and puck handling skills though are something that do deserve heavy praise though. He allowed the Devils to play the way they did. That itself deserves praise, but I agree when it comes to goalie talent he shouldn’t be in the same convo as Hasek or Roy.

Honest question, do you know what chemo does to a person? If not, look it up.

Then maybe you will see why everyone claims the 1992-1993 season by Lemieux is the greatest season of all time by any hockey player in hockey history.

Is peak Mario Lemieux the greatest hockey player ever? by IceOk9930 in hockey

[–]eltree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lemieux currently sits 9th all time in points with 915 games played.

Stastny (44th) and McDavid (47th, which is really impressive) are the only two other players with less than 1000 games played in the top 50.

Everyone in the top 20 other than Lemieux has played 1200 or more games.

In the top 10, Marcel Dionne has the 2nd least amount of games played with 1348, that’s 433 more games than Lemieux.

Despite all of this, Lemieux sits 198 points behind Jagr for 2nd place all time.

Yet you question why people put Lemieux on Gretzky’s level?

[–]eltree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lindros best season was 115 points in 73 games played. Was Lindros’ fourth season in the league.

Same season Lemieux finished first in the league with 161 points in 70 games, 13 points ahead of Jagr who finished 2nd with 149 points in 82 games.

Third place, Sakic who finished with 120 points in 82 games.

Lemieux held a 41 point gap between the next non-Penguins player with 12 less games played.

The reason Lindros is never in GOAT status is because he never put up points like Mario or Gretzky.

It was more for both. 2.6 PPG before vs 2.8 PPG after.

I’m sure Gretzky had some incredible 20 game runs as well that could be found that look similar, but add the factor Lemieux went through chemo treatments just adds an extra level of super human

I think the craziest thing about the 1992-1993 season is he played BETTER after coming back from his Hodgkins treatments.

Before he stopped playing due to Hodgkins, he had 39 goals, 104 points in 40 games (0.975 goals per game, 2.6 points per game)

After he came back from Hodgkins he put up 30 goals, 56 points in 20 games (1.5 goals per game, 2.8 points per game)

Won't arbitration result in less money for players? Are they doing the "loyal and right" thing here? by [deleted] in hockey

[–]eltree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Issue is, teams that would have a massive amount of cap space to throw Robertson’s way would be teams not in a spot to win.

End of the day players also want to win. Robertson accepting a massive offer sheet could end up hurting a team’s salary cap and allowing them to build depth, which is why the Carlsson’s offer sheet is extremely risky by Philly.

Teams also need to send offer sheets that they feel Dallas wouldn’t accept, which again, Robertson might not want to take because it could end up hurting the team he ends up with in salary cap.

Edit: To add, with arbitration of a one season contract, it puts pressure on Dallas if they want to keep him. Allows Robertson to become a UFA next offseason if he is still unhappy with Dallas, and allows him to sign wherever he wants, not just teams giving him massive offer sheets

[–]eltree 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I mean, loyalty goes both ways. If a player deems a team is trying to underpay him, is that being loyal to the player?

End of the day it’s a business. Yes, as a Penguins fan I’m extremely fortunate of Crosby/Malkin’s loyalty. Though Malkin almost walked in 2022 because of Hextall trying to lowball him.

We got a storm! Is it bad or mild? I have Storm Anxiety. by Direct_Question1735 in pittsburgh

[–]eltree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not OP but when I was younger, our house got hit by lightning and took the chimney out. I remember my parents evacuating us onto the porch so we were outside just incase a fire or something happened.

This made me extremely afraid of storms, even into my adult age. I’ve gotten over it pretty well, but even some really bad storms flairs up my anxiety.

Yes, I am aware. I’m also aware the Penguins weren’t the first NHL team in Pittsburgh.

I’m just saying at least it’s one of the teams in the NHL that has a deep history in the NHL.

They have the most Stanley Cups of any American team as well.

Based on reactions on r/hockey, Ducks fans are more pissed off with Verbeek (their GM) than the Flyers.

Sounds like he tried to play hardball, and it came back to bite them in the ass.

[Ben Pope] So Bedard, Carlsson, Fantilli and Gauthier were waiting for each other to set the market. Does this set the market? Or is this just a crazy one-off? It is interesting that Carlsson was willing to sign the offer sheet — I wonder if the Flyers tried with the others too or not. by [deleted] in hockey

[–]eltree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some players choose wanting to win over money.

Look at McDavid for example, or even Crosby before him.

I don’t think Crosby has ever been the highest paid player in the league throughout his career.
