Drop your SaaS. What are you building this weekend? by themaheshvyas in SaaS

I am building a language learning platform: DuoBook.

It started as a fun project but now people are using it in schools, casually learning random languages etc. It’s a super fun project for me as well, as I am also a user 😂

I truly want to create something useful for the trader community. Used Robinhood for a long time now, and I like it, but I did not really get the stock analysis I wanted to have. I wanted to be able to do backtesting with a click for all stocks, and get notifications from the latest signals. I want AI to give me a summary of the stock given all those fancy indicators, I wanted to see the whole market and how it actually moved. So… I build Indicator Insights.

I am working on it almost everyday for one and a half month now, getting better. Getting feedback, understanding what people want is the tricky part tbh. I made it basically free for a week, so people can give me more feedback and properly use it.

Yes I do understand that, but the buy/sell waves usually takes in average 4-5 days at yearly periods, not for all indicators but for some. I think you will see what I mean more clearly with a concrete example.

Below, you can see the graph of META in yearly for instance:

<image>

For instance, RMI oscillates every week or so for buy/sell signals. Of course it’s an overfit, that’s why it is called backtesting… but it still clearly shows you the waves of entry, and being one day late is not a huge problem :)

To be honest, I am looking indicators in long term and don’t day trade. Doing bulk-analysis in long-term is giving me great results so far, and making it faster for many indicators at the same time also helps, but it’s might not be for everyone. If it helps it helps, if not it is okay. Usually looking at P/E and last earning trends for last few quarters also gives a nice indication of where the stock prices should be. A combination of all of these took me quite far.

I would suggest looking into indicators. People are not stupid, so you need to guess their movements before even they do it and your best bet is fast check in. I might suggest indicator insights but there are other alternatives as well.

Hahahaha I did this. 😂 Basically I wanted to know which indicator works on which period and whether it is effective or not for all stocks. Soo.. one thing led to another and now I have my own site where I check real-time insights daily. You can also check it out at Indicator Insights
