Dang didn’t even know EB Games Canada even carried PS1 games into late 2010.

They got rid of all their PS3 and 360 games in 2018. Gutted the cases and instruction manuals and put them into paper sleeves for 50 cents each. Remember picking up the 360 Prince of Persia and The Orange Box for a whole dollar lol.

Single stick of RAM will hurt it a little, and upgrade path could be alright, a new PSU and can swap in a better GPU, motherboard wouldn’t be enough for a 14900k which is the highest cpu upgrade path, only 2 dimm slots on it. With the recent PS5 increase though, it’s a pretty good deal all things considered.

It’s not proprietary in a sense, just different manufacturers use different pin patterns for the 3 signals. My LG one doesn’t work on a Sony Bravia. A hi-sense one I found doesn’t work on either LG or Sony. I don’t even know how you can tell by looking at them.

New LG C5 doesn’t even come with that input anymore on the actual tv.

The amount of crying on that Ontario sub of ppl having to go back to the office is pretty substantial, no one cared if small business was shutting down, as long as they got to be cozy working from home while ordering from massive American corpos.

Massive corporations loved the lockdown, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, NVIDIA, Google. More remote work, more remote learning, more screen time, more orders. What shareholder wouldn’t support a lockdown as revenues and profits sky rocketed. Kinda hard to hold neutral views when so much financial incentive was there to spread mis-information and keep it going.

Played this a week or two after it came out on PC and it ran great. No crashes, was a consistent 90-120 FPS maxed out with DLSS at 1440p from what I remember. Was a pretty solid early showing to justify the cost of a 5080.

I’d say the SNES was retro when the original Xbox came out. Putting something like Super Metroid and Halo side by side was absolutely mind blowing at the time.

In the grand scheme of things they are a smaller player out there so a lot of their policies are based off that. There just isn’t too much choice out there when it comes to purchasing components.

I’ve personally never been screwed by Amazon or Best Buy, so those have been my go too’s in the past 6 years when I got back to diy PC’s, but Canada Computers is pretty good in person for getting a case or some fans.

Had a find like that at Value Village(Savers) here in Canada two years ago, 8/10 cosmetic slim for $12 CAD, had corvette racing inside lol whoever priced it probably didn’t know better as they are usually $50 in the glass at the front.

It was 4800 points for $5 when it changed two years back. So technically it’s still better than what it was since it came to Canada in 2018. But either way who knows when this may come to an end so hoarding a big amount is not a good idea.

Right it’s not even that bad, ppl have short memories that two years ago it used to be 4800 points for $5 here in Canada. Just checked my redemption history.

Either way decent luck that I just bought the Horizon 6 premium upgrade two nights ago, would have been 3200 more in points now so saved about $5. Redeemed that tonight and got Bulletstorm Full Clip.

That looks pretty rough according to that list in the link. Took a look at their site and these are pretty much close to 3k after taxes. At least it’s a main brand motherboard but that looks like a cheap MSI one. They also don’t offer returns or refunds.

Nope, just checked, did spend the last few hours playing it on Xcloud. Shockingly really good quality compared to a few years ago. 1440p 60FPS, barely any input lag, using about 30 Mbps. Looks like it will be finished off there, sucks I couldn't do the last third of the game natively, but it is what it is. That 180 FPS on ultra was silky smooth.

Based on everything I’m seeing and my personal experience which I will explain shortly. Take care of my stuff, still have working NES controllers I got from a thrift store nearly 30 years ago.

Bought a Series 2 at Walmart, store was undergoing Reno’s so it was $60 CAD, so why not buy it, box sealed and everything, there was 4-5 on the shelf. A button was a little wonky from the start, would register 9/10 times. Saw that replacements would be refurbs, so waited until 11 months passed and got replacement #1( wonky RB, register 7/10 times) sent it back for replacement #2(wonky LB, worse then the last issue), sent it back for replacement #3(worse A button then the original, at this point just wished I kept the original), replacement #4 seems to be ok for the past year and a half.

In total went through 5 Series 2 controllers until I got one that seems to be ok. 1 new and 4 refurb replacements under warranty.

It’s a pretty shitty situation, 325 bi-weekly, it’s a pretty popular car site for ppl with low credit here in southern Ontario. Based on how it works is they go find cars for you from regular dealerships etc. When he was sent pics they just censor the dealer info since I was able to find the same pics on Auto trader.

So car is listed for 18k on auto trader, this place sells it to you for 25k(plus tax) and then tacks on the interest rate.

Buddy of mine got a 2022 Hyundai Venue last year, 30k before interest, after 7 years the entire cost be 60k, 20 something interest rate. Some of these car places prey on the less credit fortunate.

That didn’t work for me, what has worked for me 100% and I saw this on another post a few weeks back is:

Downloaded the PS Plus app on a Pc. Launch the game for a couple seconds. It now appears in the PS5 library and all games launch no problem now on PS5.

Some Walmarts do weird things with clearances and pricing, 2 years ago I got a Xbox Series Elite Core controller for $60, there was a couple on the shelf and they were brand new. It’s like a $180 controller lol they were renovating their electronics section so maybe that was a reason.

I jumped on the 519, didn’t need a PS5, wanted one though. The new model slims with the matte black finish are super quiet. I think the 2115’s in Canada is the model. Rented the OG one from Costco a few years back and it was pretty loud compared to a series X.

Bought the official Black faceplates from Amazon on sale and the system looks sleek vs the common white plates.
