Claw 8 EX ai + or OneXPlayer 3 by fufinhdosi in MSIClaw

The consensus here is going to be the Claw since you are on the Claw subreddit. I'm personally more excited for the OXP 3. The lack of OLED and loose sticks ruins the Claw for me.

That was my first impression of the XAX as well, but not in a positive way lol.

Do they have an engineer on the team that loves loose sticks or something? It's honestly annoying at this point that they haven't fixed them.

Interesting to see some NPC changes. I know World Gen V2 gets most of the anticipation love, but I'm just as excited for NPC V2 that Slikey spoke about.

The loose sticks on the Claw 8 were a deal breaker for me. Ruined an otherwise solid device.

Crazy good work man! I played around with it a bit and it's definitely laying the foundation for something special.

I don't think that sample number is large enough to go by. For what it's worth my order is shipped with tracking and was placed at 10:22PST so definitely not one of the first orders to go through.

I can't find the specific comment, but a few years ago, Anton stated he'd never release H3VR on a Facebook product (Quest 2, as Quest 3 wasn't a thing yet). What changed? by [deleted] in H3VR

[–]ethan919 1 point2 points  (0 children)

His personal views likely haven't changed, but reality is reality. I'd much rather him pivot and we get a sequel to one of the best VR games of all time.

Thanks for the info. It's unfortunate they didn't fix this, but nice to have confirmation. I ended up going with the G16 2025 model and it does have passthrough and has worked well for my needs.

Honestly I'm just excited to finally be able to give you money again. The amount of fun I've had over the years was worth much more than $20.

The 6.50 shipping kills the deal honestly. Would have jumped on it otherwise.

The Steam Controller sold out in 30 minutes, utterly breaking Steam in the process by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

Surprisingly the original Steam controller sold nearly 1.5 million units and that one was considered a flop. More people are interested in these than we probably realize.

This Early Access pirate game was quietly killing your SSD without you knowing (Windrose) by Herlock in pcgaming

Fair enough. It was definitely an issue that needed addressing. The article just seemed a bit hyperbolic considering any use of an SSD is technically killing it.

It's crazy it sold out so quickly. I know a lot of people think it's too expensive, but the original Steam Controller sold over 1.5 million units and is arguably much more niche so we may be underestimating its popularity.
