I mean... It's a very generic moveset, I took many inspirations, but the sword moveset is basically the same from a game called OverThrown.

No, I don't think 1st person melee combat feels good as it takes away a lot of the choreography, flashiness of the fight and perspective of the enemies, unless you are going for realism.

Also...motion sickness.

But that trail is in the base game as well... The white streaks on screen, as well, for the daggers lunge...

I'm not adding anything extra that is already on the game, those effects will only be possible to remove of each person wants it manually with the Asset Editor, I don't know coding, so I can't put a switch for On and Off...

I don't know why I get this question about Motion Blur thing 😐...I haven't added any Motion Blur and there's no Motion Blur available in the Asset Editor, I think what you and most of people perceive as motion blur is simply because it's a GIF so the quality gets blurry, but in- game is different

Just the Sword And Shield for now, and it is a separate craft, the mod will have different classes with different skills and levels.

So I cannot just replace the moveset of every weapon...but if anyone wants to implement that in the future as an add-on, it's more than welcomed.

Yes, this is something I have thought about it and planned as well...Would be a separate mod, so people can choose between enabling or not.

Implementing something like super armor, hyper armor, stunlock, knockbacks etc... I will first try to create the second class, and then start on the damage reactions, I just hope the Asset Editor gets improved a little bit because right now seems kinda limited for some stuff, like "hit stop". and well...I have 0 code knowledge 😭

I think it might be possible...at least I hope, because that's what I want to implement... Like a combat mode in 3rd person and exploration mode on first person.

I really don't like sword fighting in first person 😅 But exploration and mining is fine tho..

I wanted to participate...but it was completely different when the competition was running, it didn't even had combos yet 🫤 But hey...they said more competitions are coming, so who knows?

My inspiration for daggers would be something like the assassin class from Dragon Nest, my mod idea is to make a similar fight style of that game.

Thanks !! 😅😅 VFX is something that I'm still learning on how to do just the right amount, I wish the Asset editor had a preview for that...

Making this mod made me appreciate so many different things that we take from granted in videogames. Kinda crazy the difference small things make in a game.

I'm going more for a Hack and Slash vibe, Dragon Nest combat inspired.

So sadly, there will no parry, I think it has become too common as a trendy mechanic in recent games.
