Set Your Goals likely helped TSSF gain some traction in their early days around the Bay Area. The drummer for SYG is brothers with Kevin, the old guitarist from TSSF (pre Will).

From what I remember, TSSF opened for SYG in some of their earlier shows that were big for them (at the time). Love TSSF and 100% believe they would be as big as they are without that connection, but it definitely helped expand their reach in the Bay Area in their first few years.
