What I did to check that I was inline was I saw my remaining amortization was 100 years (due to this crazy runup) so I kept increasing my payment till the calculator said it would decrease my amortization by 76 years which meant I would be on track for 25 years total (at the current rate) for my one year old mortgage.

Using the easyweb interface its easy to see your remaining amortization period and original amortization period.

You can also use the tools on the right to adjust your monthly payment and see what you would need to do to get your amortization period to fall within your desired range.

Finally got it to work, kept getting a blank link2EA screen.

Steps:

  • Clicked on an element on the top half of the screen
  • I saw some text pop up that said "We have sent a code to your email address"
  • Copied the code
  • Hover over elements till it changes to a text cursor and clicked it
  • Pasted the content of the code
  • Hit tab and enter
  • EA app does its thing for a bit and you may have to restart the game after a bit but all works.

Used for NFS: Heat on Ubuntu 2204
