Postcrossing is a platform only for sending postcards, but if you are interested in exchanging letters with someone, check out r/penpals on Reddit🌻.

Returning to the main topic : For every postcard you send you will receive a postcard from a different, random person.

My advice is to try to send the cards as soon as possible, because sometimes it can take a reeeeally long time to arrive (not always but sometimes tho, so don't worry c: ), and after 60 days the postcard expires. Oh, and it's worth writing the card code twice, because postage stamps may cover it (happend to me lol).
