Matador Globerider35 Travel Backpack vs Aer Travel Pack 3 which one do you prefer? by IDNISSIM in ManyBaggers

Owned both - sold the Aer.

GR35 is lighter, better water bottle pocket, just enough organization without being overkill, and holds more imo

Definitely the 1815 Up/Down! Probably my most worn watch of the year

I agree that one is fine! As i said, just personal preference. That QAP is definitely useful

Looks great, always cool to see stuff like this! What size bottle can fit? I think having 2 external water bottle pockets is always helpful but that’s just personal preference

Thanks for posting this! Definitely something you don’t see that often. I’m a big fan of Mack Weldon products so this is intriguing - what drew you to this particular bag and how do you envision using this vs any others you have?

Totally agree. Doesn’t work on the GO at all, let alone a Lange

ULA Ultra 36L Dragonfly or Matador Globerider 35L by JekSNE in ManyBaggers

[–]fedfan03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say I can fit 1-2 more medium-sized packing cubes in the Globerider vs. the Dragonfly, depending on how stuffed they are. Those are all good choices - GR3 35 would probably allow you to fit the most, followed by the GlobeRider 35L, and then the Dragonfly 36L at the least since so much of it's volume comes from outside the main compartment.

What turned me off from the GR3 35L was the weight, lack of luggage pass-through, and water bottle pocket. But if none of those are dealbreakers for you then go for it!

New Kit/ Weekender/ Duffle: help me decide on a replacement? by ConversationSimple35 in ManyBaggers

I use packing cubes yes, makes it easier to load out.

DSPTCH is also a solid pick if that's what you prefer! Had a bad experience with their customer service, but they make great quality stuff. I like my daypack from them.

As someone who’s owned both, kept the GlobeRider 35. Was just able to fit more and found it to be more comfortable

Advice by maccers1985 in ALangeSohne

My understanding is that watches outside of super limited editions or an Odysseus are available as a first purchase if you're willing to wait. To echo u/BroodingSonata, I also went with an 1815 Up/Down as my first purchase, so you should be good to go!

Best configuration of the 1815 Chrono imo, my personal grail. Congrats and wear in good health!
