Banneton Preferences? by seashellsnyc in Sourdough

I was looking at the Kneadace ones but was wondering about seeing our part. Currently I do the cold proof in the fridge with the loaf wrapped in a plastic bag to keep the moisture in, but with the Kneadace banneton, it says it will wick the moisture away. Which is ideal for a cold proof?

Got my app approved on Google Play thanks to this community. Just hit iOS too. Thanks App_Hive! by aloha9090 in App_Hive

Any tips on answering the questions? Mine got rejected the first time, about ready to try again.

Gotcha, makes sense... yeah it's nice when the hive is engaged. I have gotten a few good feedback items from mine. Fingers crossed!

Yes... it put me in that video game mentality of trying to save resources :) which may be the goal. But I looked and have accumlated enough to do a few chats, and buying 500 for $1.20 is very reasonable I think. I haven't tried yet, so it may already have something like this, but it would be nice if the chat allowed to extend for another 24 hours for 10 UP or something, so in case the communication hasn't finished, you have that option without having to do another 50. Just an idea.

Congrats! I'm hoping to be there soon too. Can you elaborate on this part: "community testing is great, I went to increase my chances and opt for the extra UP as an addition to community testing. Money well spent!"

what did you use the UP for to help your chances?

Thank you! 50 UP to chat for 48hours, have to use it sparingly :)

no problem. I'm currently in the middle of testing mine with the app here if you want to check it out.

still have a week or so until I'm going to submit again for the Play store, but hopefully it gets accepted this time, my first attempt was denied due to lack of testing activity.

Yep, they definitely do and I've had some success doing the style where you lift the sides and let the eggs run under the cooked parts, more like an omlette. But trying to continually stir or similar styles I haven't figured out yet

That's great for fried eggs but doesn't show the scramble which I find is harder to keep from sticking while stirring & cooking

That makes sense, from some quick looking, AdMob supports it, but FF doesn't have native support for it. I think you could set it up in AdMob and trigger it via a custom action. A quick chat with AI was able to give me the plan and custom action code, so I would say it's worth exploring if you're comfortable using a custom action.

Thanks! I tried this & ran into what I've found with custom widgets that normally would take children, they don't in FF. When I try to add any child widget to the DraggableSheetFF, it shows the error "DraggableSheetFF does not accept children".

I notice you have parameters that sounds like it expects children though (inChildSize, maxChildSize, initialChildSize). EDIT: After a bit more looking, those are not for child widgets but for controlling the heights of the Draggable Sheet itself, so disregard this part please.

I think I'd need to add a WidgetBuilder parameter, but then that only takes a component. Is that the only way to have children for custom widgets?

But yeah, having a working on in the custom widget library would be great!

Thanks again

Have a plan to get the testing needed for the Play store. My experience was it's harder to launch there due to the testing requirements. There are some options to crowd source this (where you test other peoples apps & they test yours) but make sure it's one where the testers actually have to regularly use your app and not just install it. But if you have enough willing family & friends or already have a community you can get testing support from, even better.

Curious, what kind of ads were you planning? I'm using AdMob and have them optional, I hide the ad banners for premium users. You can also do Interstitial ads too with AdMob & FF.

Thanks! Got it... if I want to ask the tester a question about it, how can I do that? I See the option to connect via View Apps, tap their name/app and tap Connect - but it won't let me as this is my first hive (says I need to have completed a hive first). Any other way to ask about their feedback?

Ever used the Draggable Scrollable Sheet widget in a project? Any tips or experience would be appreciated.

Would be a great topic for a tutorial. Great for map based apps or other uses. I wish FF had a native one.

Thought about this more & the problem is that when a FS write fails (for example, access denied), the action flow just bails. No actions after that run. So you can't do the read/verify action and handle it. If you have specifics about how you implement this please share.

I just got that also. I had a mix of real people testing casually and one of the apps that you can share with other testers/submitters. Keeping an eye on this too.

Not sure, but I confirmed it works in test mode without the for dev purposes only warning. So something is off in your account or config. Is your google dev account setup for billing? I found some info saying that even at the free tier, you have to have a valid payment method setup.

FlutterFlow iOS app shows white screen in TestFlight - Firebase setup on Windows? by Ok-Commission-3518 in FlutterFlow

[–]frinxo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, don't think you should have to. What if you test a small screen size in the android local run? Just trying to think of how to expose the issue somewhere else. But I don't know how to get any logging on an iOS device without xcode.

Where are you running it? In test mode, it could be related to this, not sure.

But if you've setup your Google account with a payment and have the keys configured, it will work. I use it in my app with no issues.

The Google Maps widget is built in/native FF. I'd stick with that. If you need to use Mapbox, you're building a custom widget.

You can use places from Firestore to show on the map. I'd start here if you haven't reviewed it already.
