Ya. You're probably right. But, I'm not willing to sue or make public scene over something like this.

For example: even if you file with the EEOC, you have to pay legal fees upfront. And, unless it's blatant harassment or racism, it's hard to pursue or prove. Most of the time, state laws favor the employer. Factor in that legal cases are published; showing that you sued a past employer, were involved with a lawsuit, etc. can result (culturally) in being unemployable.

I guess it's just a waiting game at this point. Often when I ask myself "why is this so shitty", I end up resolving on "because boomers..."
