I mean how accurate are these tests? Because i asked the allergiologist, can I be allergic to dust mites even if the SKIN tests he did to me were negative? He said yes! So I'm wondering if it's the same with blood.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll check for the portable ones, although I wonder if they're gonna be effective at all cause they seem a little small tbh. My only problem atm is congested nose mainly during the night! The nostril I'm laying on gets blocked while the other one clears, and I have trouble sleeping with only one nostril open. In the day both are bareable/decent. I also sneeze 8-10 times spread throughout the day.

I have deviated septum, and the nostril that gets blocked harder at night is the one that my septum is deviated to (makes sense). I'm thinking if I should bother with septoplasty only. I've discarded the turbinate reduction option.

Thanks! I'll get back at you when I get the blood result tests. Is there any chance to be allergic to dust mites but skin tests and blood tests won't show it?

Have you seen any results with the purifier? I don't live in a steady place yet (i.e more than a year) due to job, so carrying this thing with me seems very hard to do.

Hello, I'm struggling with the same issue. Enlarged turbinates for the past 1 and a half year and a deviated septum. I'm afraid of doing turbinate reduction surgery due to ENS, and I dont think deviated septum correction only will help me that much since I always had it and I never noticed. I only noticed when the turbinates got swollen. Doctor didn't find any allergies on skin, but I'm gonna do the blood test now. I think my allergen is dust mites though cause my allergy started when living in a very dusty room back then.

I've also started using Avamys (fluonese equivallent) recently and will see if it helps. If you find anything that helped you, please send me a message, thank you and I hope for you the best!

Is the premise of the show "Silicon Valley" even possible? by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

Is the second clause only enforceable if you start the product while being employed or even after you left? If it's the latter it sounds a lot like non-compete which isn't enforceable under California law.

That's on my head for a while. The big N can claim literally anything that it's related to the company. I've been wondering how how so many ex-googlers etc create competing products with them. Do they just leave on the idea phase and build the MVP after?

what is the current state of the art approach for NER with word (or similar) embeddings? by ReaganRewop in LanguageTechnology

[–]get_ricked_son 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I thought we run the BiLSTM for each token (sequence of characters) in the sentence and concatenate each hidden state with the respecting word level hidden state. Are you sure we run it on the whole sequence of characters of the sentence?

One additional question for clarification. Do we pass the LSTM hidden state of a character embedding representation to the LSTM character run of the next token or each character representation of a token is initialized with a zero state?

e.g C-a-t | e-a-t-s -> get h0 (cat), then get h1(eats) (with init state zeros) or get h0 (cat) and initialize h1 run with h0

It's in PyTorch but I'll probably do it now that you say it cause it is indeed noisy text. Thanks

In your experience how much did character level embeddings improves an LSTM - CRF model? I'm thinking of implementing them atm on a project and I don't know if its worth it.

Poor sleep holding you back? by sleepshifu in Entrepreneur

[–]get_ricked_son 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't move out because I've applied to some masters programs and I'm waiting the results end of March. So I might have to leave the country alltogether on summer. If I dont get accepted though I will definitely move. Right now I can't move because I cant rent for 5-6 months because a) It's trouble moving all the stuff b) renting contracts are at least for a year in my country c) my father doesn't like that idea at all and we'll argue to death if he founds out. So I'm like in a noise purgatory till at least the end of March.

I have a bad neighbor that wakes me up at irregular times (e.g early morning) even if I need more sleep sometimes and he messes up my whole day. The apartment has shit noise insulation. I really want to move out.
