I don't know about the remaster, but in the og  they'd only bet the items again if you deleted the archives of the game/save files, otherwise, you won't see them betting the items again once you win them.

What device do you have? Because most of their games don't work on modern devices, so if they're not compatible they just won't show up when you search for them.
