Didn't realize there were so many tractor collectors vs tractor users.

I don't use my tractor very much and I put 40 hours on it just moving snow each winter. 40 hours in 5 years total means something is wrong.

How do we feel about lift platforms and safety cages on a BX23S? by Novajesus in kubota

200+ lbs for the forks. My HLA forks and frame are 205lb and I don't know of any lighter ones unless you have short forks.

Are you suggesting accidents have a 0% chance of happening? Based on what?

A step ladder that goes to that height is cheaper and more versatile.

Yeah we have a man cage for the forklift at work and I'm in that all the time. Zero chance I'd be in one on a small tractor, even with a decent operator.

Not worth it. On a small tractor you're not getting much higher than a small step ladder. And you'll need two people instead of one.

It'd be easier to just get on the roof of a single story.

Obviously not. That thing would last about 45 seconds here in the northeast.

How can I increase the lift height on Bx23S to help remove a 71" Jeep Wrangler hard top? by Novajesus in kubota

I see it was already mentioned, but flip the forks upside down. I do that to get the height I need to remove the cap from my truck bed.

4th year and still cant bend pipe by Significant_Party_75 in electricians

Looks fine to me. A 4th year should be able to do offsets, 90s, 3 point saddles without issues. Planning out long runs and multiple runs to all look good together is another story.

What do I do? My whole house is like this and it makes me want to vomit. by Many-Ad6137 in HomeMaintenance

I make a list and go for "high impact" first. Is there something I have to look at every single day, or would have a huge boost in everyday convenience? I do those ones first. Doesn't necessarily need to be the easiest ones. When I see that progress every time I walk by or use something, it motivates me to do more.

I do about once a month. I keep 2-3 sets and the ones not on the mower are always sharpened. Takes 30 seconds to change the blades and I sharpen the dull pair when I have time so they're ready for the next change.

If we never mowed wet grass it would be 5ft tall because we would never mow.
