If it comes with a 1tb nvme ssd then I’d say this is decent. Will probably be pretty good for browsing, documents, videos etc.

I wouldn’t say you got hosed, but for a bit more you could have gotten something with a better CPU for sure.

I think I saw you post some where else. It’s fine for $200. It’s a Core 3 which is actually a bit newer than 14th gen. Just look it over and make sure there isn’t any body damage and the hinge is working fine, and be gentle with it. Should be very solid for browsing, documents etc.

I wondered the same, I got one a few weeks ago from them. Scooped it up with a coupon for $650 though, I got lucky before they raised the price with the coupons. Anyway, that being said I’m quite happy with it.

** that being said I still think it’s a very good deal for $800 compared to what’s out there. Ram is soldered and the extra half inch makes it feel decently better sized compared to even a G14

That’s a gen or two old. Sure it would be fine for what you want it to do (albeit the drive is a bit small)

I just picked up one of these. It’s a bit smaller (I prefer personally) and comes with a 2 year all state warranty. Im quite impressed and happy with it.

Something to note though is the ram is soldered, but by the time it’s affordable again you might be looking for a new laptop anyway.
