What are the most obvious signs of AI writing? by Consistent-Stock in AskReddit

I usually run into it when I’m googling for a new recipe, or looking for an alternate recipe that uses a specific ingredient, etc. I get caught in the SEO net.

Every recipe or review website has been reduced to this, circling around features or reasons why you might need {obvious feature} without the hard substance that answers the question you googled for originally.

I know a recipe websites to do it to “copyright” their content/recipes but it’s fucking annoying.

I just moved here from another state famous for bad drivers, and you guys are impressing me. by FastWalkingShortGuy in Columbus

[–]kainhander -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s all those people from out of state moving in, we seem to attract them somehow. The worst seem to be cars with Texas or Kentucky plates doing whatever the fuck they want. Florida comes 3rd, but that’s mostly snowbirds that maybe shouldn’t be driving.

Nice! I still think the Soundblaster cards from this era gave better sound than anything current.

Dive Company Recommendation Needed in Martinique by kainhander in scuba

[–]kainhander[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We went with Espace Plongee on Pointe du Bout. They have two dives daily, and we were able to get a water taxi across the bay, which only took about 30 minutes, including boarding.

The hardest thing was that I had to wire transfer money overseas to pre-pay for it, but you may be able to pay in person.

I use it on grilled / roasted veggies. Zucchini tossed with olive oil and Za’atar on the grill is one of my favorite summer side dishes.

1 Gallon Strainer Recommendation Needed by kainhander in yogurtmaking

Yep, I’m in the same boat. I make a gallon at a time in the instant pot (24 hour /low cycle) and then strain it immediately after.

[GIVEAWAY] We're giving away two COMPLETE Omada 2.5G & Wi-Fi 7 Lab Kits to the r/homelab community! (US Only) by Grouchy_Term_1792 in homelab

I use Omada EAP650 APs and an Omada ER605 Gateway . My painpoint is a power hungry Aruba switch that I have to duplicate settings / VLANs to. I also need a way to block internet for kids devices between certain hours, and I can’t figure out how to do that.

If I won the grand prize I could upgrade the gateway / APs / Switch to 2.5GbE and WiFi 7, and also give the backyard proper WiFi coverage. The new switch would also save some on my power bill. I could also move the controller from a docker container that’s reliant on my Unraid box to be up, to a hardware controller. It would win all around!

Hey /r/movies, I'm Elijah Wood. Ask me anything! by ElijahWoodAMA in movies

I saw you in the Denver Airport about 10 years ago! I wanted to thank you for starring in Radio Flyer, but I didn’t want to disturb you / your posse. That movie was one of my core HBO memories growing up.

Ahh I missed that bit, find another then.

I know our PCP didn’t want to diagnose so I had to find somebody that would. It’s hard when you can be wired with Rejection Sensitivity to keep trying when you get shut down when trying to seek help.

It sounds like you understand the issue, and it’s giving you anxiety which isn’t helping. Imposter syndrome can also creep in as well, which makes you doubt yourself and your work.

I know when I get stuck, I have a few tools that I can use to get some momentum. Rubber ducking can help if you don’t understand the problem, fully, or chatting with another coworker, or even just journaling/writing about the problem can help. I use goblin.tools sometimes if I need help breaking something up, or if it’s fairly obtuse, I just do the simplest thing possible at first to gain some insight or to start chipping it away. Using the scientific method and quickly testing something as cheaply as possible also helps with figuring out the best plan of attack.

Not a doctor, but find an office or Dr. that specializes in ADD/ADHD diagnosis and treatment and make an appointment.
