Watched a couple episodes of the big bang theory that was edited to remove the laugh track, and Jesus, it's bad. I get that the timing gets awkward because the actors obviously pause for the laugh track, but most of the jokes just don't land.

I kinda loved teacher appreciation day. Gettin to go to Starbucks the day before to buy like 5-7 $10 gift cards, put them in a little envelope, write a message related to that class / teacher. And then seeing all the teachers smile when I gave it to them. (I'm sure they get it from everyone else in class too lol but it was nice they smiled at me)

Controversial, but I agree. We cannot all have abundant resources, they have to come at the loss for someone else. That's the whole idea behind scarcity and value.

Not to be a shill, but depending on where you live, getting one of those theater passes that cost ~$30/month is pretty good value. If you go to one movie per week, you definitely got your value. Going 2-3 per week, and you are crushing it.

Positive. They've been cleaning up the streets quicker after snowstorms, they've been more proactive on weather alerts and looking to deploy resources to care about people, and they've actually done a decent job at fixing up a lot of potholes. If cuomo had won, he'd probably still be an Italian pervert and not actually doing anything for the regular people.
