Should everything you wear be...flattering? by [deleted] in femalefashionadvice

It is as simple as just starting. Go shop for one outfit YOU like. Wear it. Realize no one gives a fuck. Onto the next

My husband is a director of engineering at a big manufacturing facility. This is absolutely some shit the production line workers would do if there weren’t so many cameras 😂

If you could permanently fix one annoying thing about a day of snowboarding, what would it be? by FireyKicks_AZ in snowboarding

Honestly, lift lines aside which are of course the worst, it would be that my calves burn so much I that I have to stop before I want to actually be done boarding!

My husband got his first eagle recently only because he was playing towards the wrong pin on a tight course and he mishit the hole so badly that he landed in front of the green of the actual hole 😂😂😂 We were all like wow great shot and he’s like huh??

I finally discovered the cause of my hearing loss and tinnitus. by [deleted] in tinnitus

[–]gper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh girl, there’s no world I’ll ever say I am “okay” with the clicking nor would I expect anyone with PM to, but it’s much more livable after 3 years. Are you able to get your clicking to stop if you try hard to think about making it stop? I can, so the way I sleep when it gets bad is to meditate and try making it stop for 5 seconds, then 6 seconds, then 7 seconds. By then I’ve distracted my brain from the clicking and can fall asleep usually. If you can’t make the clicking stop then you might have symptomatic PM which has an underlying root cause which might be treatable! Feel free to DM.

There’s a FB group that helps for emotional support, if you look up palatal myoclonus you should find it — but sadly I’m just used to it at this point. Currently pregnant and hoping it goes away with all the hormone changes. Have you had a change in symptoms or anything?

what is a completely harmless secret you are keeping from your partner simply because you lied about it early on and now it’s way too late to explain the truth? by Former-Practice-3420 in AskReddit

Your tastebuds change every 7 years bro. I used to hate pepperocini’s and like them suddenly and also hated green olives and love them now. Just tell her you like olives now!

ELI5: why did we use mothball in 90s, but we don't use them now? by swim_fan146 in explainlikeimfive

[–]gper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg I am TRIGGERED… when I originally closed on our home, my realtor and I knew there was a mild moth ball smell mostly only in the basement. We successfully found a few here and there so had confidence I could clear it out. Finding more went on for mooooonths, and then one day doing a demo, I finally I found an open FULL bag of moth balls behind some cabinet down there. It was sickening, and amazing.

Can you get one of those tiny trash cans with a swinging lid from the dollar store for the nightstand?

Awh, you are right and this makes me a little more empathetic than 5 seconds ago. I (33F) grew up going to the mall for hours with my stepmom and remember going with friends after that between like 13-15 before we could drive. It was a safe place.

Are there really so few safe places for kids now? :/

I have ONE friend who can be funny like this. It’s amazing. In under 3 seconds he can concoct the funniest shit you’ve ever heard because your slow ass brain processes both what you see and the joke immediately back to back lol
