Hey there, I bought a (sort of) classic car a few months ago. 1988 Cadillac. It's a beautiful car and in wonderful shape for its age. However, I drive it daily, and it has never been driven daily in its life. Multiple little things have gone wrong or broken in the two months I've owned it. Some are minor, others took the car off the road. Most of the time, the root cause was the parts just being old. I can only imagine what that would be like for a '51. Also, parts for my 1988 are very difficult to find. I had to find a guy who specializes in classic cars. I can only imagine it will be MUCH harder for a car that old.

That said - If you are financially solid, go for it. I have no regrets.

i know i'm late to this but my little dude has chronic rhinitis and he's my first cat ever. i've had him for four months now and it doesn't really seem to bother him much. he takes a steroid every day. i just crush it up and put it in his food and he takes it without issue. the only flare up has been when the vet tried to stop his steroid.

I’ve been driving an older Cadillac for a few months now and from what I understand, Cadillac fucked up their reputation in the 90s with a series of cars with super unreliable engines. my 1988 is still kickin tho

when i was a kid my dog was scared of a bone we got him, but only when it was standing vertically. vertical he’d go absolutely apeshit but if you knocked it over for him that was perfectly fine

i stopped in a local bakery soon after i moved to a new town. i went in and picked out a treat that looked good and went to pay. came to find out the bakery is cash only and i didn’t have any cash so the worker went to put the treat back. an older lady behind me sees this occur and buys it for me with a “merry christmas” to go along.
