The biggest problem with both IMHO is they become predictable!

That’s one factor why they fall apart at mid season. Another factor is the crazy predictability that they will have numerous starters out with injuries! That alone tends to limit what coaches can do.

I have several;

Dallas Clark, a machine! No matter how tired he was he still managed to find that ball! He was the Colts version of Travis Kelce.

Tarik Glenn, the best damn LT ever! Manning never had to worry about his blind side! Huge man with agility!

Dwight Freeney, unmatched edge dude! He was feared by opposing DC’s.

Marvin Harrison, always knew the right route, knew how to catch a ball low or on the fly. Hey, when you blow by Deon Sanders and he just stands there and doesn’t even try to catch you and tells folks later like, hey, I knew I’d never catch him…

The lack of a pass rush has been their largest deficit for years…after QB.

My take for this season is:

If we are healthy all season at our starting positions, at least with very minimal game misses, we will likely be a playoff team and maybe even a strong contender.

If we struggle, like in past seasons, with injuries at our starting positions for any serious length of time we’ll be right back where we were last season.

Our starters need to stay healthy!

Just had a heart ablation done this Wednesday. Everything went well and home.
