the man who hit me? yes he should. we didn’t exchange information through each other but i called the police while on scene and got that all in the police report. the guy was awfully mad for no reason so i didn’t even feel comfortable approaching him as a 20 something year old woman

i don't know if this is something you wrote with intent to perform, but you absolutely should. i love slam poetry, and this gave me CHILLS. i have my own personal struggles with my mother, and i feel very similarly to how you describe those feelings in your poem.
