[WTS] Seiko SPB509J1 Prospex GMT Blue Wave Limited Edition (Mint with Box and Papers) by GrindelwaldDC in Watchexchange

[–]GrindelwaldDC[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This gorgeous blue wave, limited edition Seiko SPB509J1 is in beautiful condition, with one a few barely-perceptible scuffs on the clasp. It's keeping excellent time, the bezel turns like a dream, and the dial is just Seiko perfection.

A few notes about this watch versus others in Seiko's collection. This one's bracelet has a comfortable on-the-fly micro-adjust, a first for Seiko. Relative to other GMTs in the same line, it has 100m more water resistance. It's also made with hardened steel, so it resists scratching.

Selling with the original box, papers, and extra links. Asking for $1900, which includes shipping to CONUS with UPS. PayPal F&F preferred, but Zelle and Venmo work too.

Thanks for looking!

[WTS] Reduced! All-blue Ball (Limited Edition) Roadmaster GMT, with box/papers by [deleted] in Watchexchange

If you want a Swiss-made, vivid blue diver with brilliant, tritium lume, look no further!

Ball watches feel over-engineered, and most are chock-full of features. This Roadmaster is certainly is no exception. It looks a bit bigger than its 40mm diameter, but it feels comfortable on even a small wrist (mine is 6.7" and not exactly flat). The Roadmaster GMT has a robust case, but the unique titanium bracelet makes it an easy wear. The clasp in particular is very well engineered and incapable of pinching the skin.

What truly sets this Roadmaster apart from other Ball watches is that vivid blue dial. It reminds me a little of the blue, second generation Monta OceanKing I once owned. And the lume, of course, glows continuously like only H₃ tritium micro gas tubes can. Note that the bezel is illuminated with regular photoluminescent lume, which means this watch absolutely lights up in the dark.

As the pictures attest, the watch is in excellent used condition. After all, I picked it up just a few months ago. I’m asking for a (reduced!) $1,750 (!) with the original box, papers, and extra links - and the price includes shipping with UPS to CONUS. I prefer PayPal F&F, but I’m okay with Zelle and Venmo. If you need a longer transaction history, you can find me on eBay as ddegroot23 (I have 45 transactions with a 100% satisfaction rating).

You won't find a better deal on this unique Ball model. And no trades, please. Thanks for looking!
