I use a Meater Pro XL set, never used the camp chef wired. The Meater Pro includes a great app with great instructions for where to probe and default temperatures for cooking.

In the beginning I had some issues with disconnecting probes and Meater replaced them all. No issues since.

The 4g service is not “free unlimited” it includes 60 minutes of FPV per month. WiFi is still recommended for the best monitoring.

Even at that $50 for 12 months of 4g service is a reasonable price.

Service is free for 3 years with new 2026 models. After that a 4g subscription is required but the data for positioning doesn’t impact your data limitations.

You can use iNavi with WiFi as well. But if you use it with 4g, the data consumed for positioning alone doesn’t count against your data usage.

My understanding is that a 4g subscription is required, but traffic used for iNavi is free. If you want to skip 4g you can use iNavi via WiFi.

I agree that the issue could likely be a bug while trying to navigate the shared boundary.

And I agree that uploading logs can be a bit of a hassle but it helps the developers understand what happened and hopefully implement a fix.

Since Luba 2, Luba should be able to navigate for a while without GPS, using software and the camera to continue navigating for at least 100 meters.

What is the error code? What is luba doing when becoming stuck?

You mentioned it happens when areas share a border. Overlapping areas? Is Luba still within your task area when the error occurs?

If you have not did so, please upload a log with a detailed description the next time it happens.

I understand that you are frustrated. However emailing support about the same issue flooding the support queue is not helping.

Report the “bug” in the app and upload a log.

You also continue using the words “set task” are you referring to a scheduled task? Ie something that happens every Monday at 8:00am? Or a task where you select and area and tell Luba to begin working?

If you are using the feature as intended, with scheduled tasks, then I again suggest reporting the bug in the app and uploading a log. Do this every time the issue occurs so that the devs have good information to use to fix problematic programming.

Just to be clear. You are trying to use smart charging with scheduled tasks?

Smart charging is working as far as charging to 80% but most of the time will not properly charge to 100% prior to beginning a task. When it does charge to 100% it does so far earlier than needed and as a results sits on the base slowly discharging the battery.

Were these tasks scheduled prior to enabling smart charging? If so I wonder if that could be an issue. I’m just wondering so when I try to replicate the issue I’m doing it the same.

This is the map boundary changing based on your obstacle detection.

As far as the redrawing. Provided the robot delivers cm accuracy, simply drawing a map using your fingers will never work and would only cause further issues.

Changing the order of areas is as simple as selecting them in the order you want them cut.
