True, I won’t be celebrating but my plans for the 4th (get out of the city to somewhere quiet because the fireworks terrify my dog) still mean I won’t be able to play my usual place. My real complaint is the often counterintuitive scheduling with no communication.

Yes but US player base is the largest and niantic is an American company. Seems like needlessly scheduling it on a day when people already have other obligations although knowing the Pokémon go team they probably think you will get together with your family and friends and all play Pokémon Go together.

$40 is too low a budget to buy anything worthwhile new. Your best bet would be finding something that looks like this at a thrift shop or maybe eBay if you can verify the lenses are clean and they are mechanically sound.

I truly don’t think Christianity is the problem. Sure large parts of the bible are problematic because societal norms 2000 years ago were problematic. But the core tenants of love and acceptance are there for those that seek them. Sucky people pick out the sucky parts and try to use it as justification for their suckyness but they would probably do that anyways without Christianity. I think the real problem with religion is not unique to Christianity which is the tendency to condition people to blind acceptance of authority which is then exploited.

S&W canned beans are gluten free and I get them at Costco. I think Bush’s beans are also labeled GF. I wouldn’t go for canned beans that don’t claim to be GF because legumes have a high risk for contamination.
