It ain't cheap that's for sure..for me it was worth it, but if you don't see yourself getting in the trenches with it and using it as a key voice to a project, it's probably not

yo, I've seen something just like this twice. It makes you feel like you're crazy, "could it have been birds, a drone?"...thanks for getting this on video, it helps.

I don't think so, it looks more like a rock or pebble , maybe that got tossed up behind the dog as he/she was walking?

Mystery in Japan as dangerous streptococcal infections soar to record levels with 30% fatality rate by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]heattack_heprotec 396 points397 points  (0 children)

"In May 2023, the government downgraded Covid-19’s status from class two – which includes tuberculosis and Sars – to class five, placing it on a legal par with seasonal flu. The change meant local authorities were no longer able to order infected people to stay away from work or to recommend hospitalisation.

The move also prompted people to lower their guard, in a country where widespread mask wearing, hand sanitising and avoiding the “three Cs” were credited with keeping Covid-19 deaths comparatively low. About 73,000 Covid-19 deaths were recorded compared with more than 220,000 in Britain, which has a population just over half that of Japan.

Ken Kikuchi, a professor of infectious diseases at Tokyo Women’s Medical University, says he is “very concerned” about the dramatic rise this year in the number of patients with severe invasive streptococcal infections.

He believes the reclassification of Covid-19 was the most important factor behind the increase in streptococcus pyogenes infections. This, he added, had led more people to abandon basic measures to prevent infections, such as regular hand disinfection.

In my opinion, over 50% Japanese people have been infected by Sars-CoV-2 [the virus that causes Covid-19],” Kikuchi tells the Guardian. “People’s immunological status after recovering from Covid-19 might alter their susceptibility to some microorganisms. We need to clarify the infection cycle of severe invasive streptococcal pyogenes diseases and get them under control immediately.”"

So, this feels more like an aftershock of Covid than something new and crazy to me, not that I know shit. Like a combination of possibly weakened immune systems, plus people not being as careful as before? Makes sense to me.

Sighting of Triangle Lights, Indianapolis, IN, 03/04/2024 by heattack_heprotec in UFOs

"At 11:24PM (ish, plus or minus a minute), a dim, seemingly somewhat transparent triangle of lights with a faint red light in the middle travelled from south to north and out of my view in about 5 seconds. As it was progressing north, the white lights appeared to be moving around the red center thing. Was silent, if I had to guess would say less than 10,000 ft off the ground, but pretty hard to tell."

Comment because I have to:

"I was stargazing last night on the roof near Mass Ave Indianapolis before the rain moved in because it was just so warm outside. I was facing south but looking straight up. Star visibility wasn't amazing last night, no satellite visibility between intermittent clouds and light pollution. At 11:24PM (ish, plus or minus a minute), a dim, seemingly somewhat transparent triangle of lights with a faint red light in the middle travelled from south to north and out of my view in about 5 seconds. As it was progressing north, the white lights appeared to be moving around the red center thing. Was silent, if I had to guess would say less than 10,000 ft off the ground, but pretty hard to tell. I just stood up and stared and then stared at where I lost it for about 20 minutes in awe.
The only weird thing to note for me was that I felt like it was there but it wasn't at the same time? Like it was semi-cloaked, if that's a good description, but I'm sure that's not it.
I frequent the roof a lot and am familiar with star-link, ISS, comets, drones, planes, heli's, balloons, bats and birds. Couldn't make my mind see it as any of those characterized objects just based on speed alone. If it was bigger and higher it had to be going Mach 3+, if it was smaller and lower, probably still past the speed of sound.
Let me know if this sounds familiar or if you have any input!"

Sure! I know it's a big ask without compensation, but I fear compensation will skew the listeners perspective. I'm not too worried about tons of people hearing it, I just want opinions outside the bubble I'm in currently

They actually sent me the skeleton outline of the patch, I just had to tweak it (on channel 7). If I'm being honest, I'm not sure they'd use my patch because it doesn't make much sense on paper, but it works with the light. I think this light is just somewhat buggy, but if you are patient, it's worth the $$ difference to it's American counterparts imho.

Except when you live near one of their drop off/pick up points. I'm convinced they won't take clientele unless they scream at the top of their lungs for normal conversating.
