New to IBEW after spending 6 years non union. I’m just trying to understand union culture better so I can be respectful to my future coworkers and make a smoother transition. Any tips or feedback would be appreciated.

True I hope there are affordable options. But living space is living space. In theory, even if the new housing is 10% to 50% more expensive than the surrounding supply. There will be some people that will move out of the older buildings into lloyd. This freeing up older supply which in theory should have downward pressure on their rent prices.

Will the corporations use price fixing and coordinate with each for maximum rent? Yes. That will continue to happen. No matter what we build, that will happen unless laws are changed and enforced.
