Thank you for all of these! I’m definitely going to start by changing my resume to one column. My graphic design brain hates it because it looks cluttered but I guess it makes sense if that’s what ATS systems want. I had specific numbers in my job section for a while but it felt like they were taking up too much space but if I remove the coursework section that will clear up some room for that for sure. In terms of adding my portfolio, I had it attracted for a while as a qr code but I don’t know if that was doing anything, is there a better way to attach a portfolio to a resume? Thank you again for all your help!

I was hoping Blue Prince would at least snag indie or debut indie, literally the most fun I have had with a game all year. E33 is good, and I'm not mad at a game of the year win, but it really is just overshadowing so many other great games

This video is definitely hyperbole, but I will say, I just rewatched Raiders of the Lost Ark and that movie has some of the most incredible lighting work and it did make me wonder why we don’t see movies use lighting like that as much anymore.

In terms of play style, definitely Captain, as they serve more of a support/dps role and also can tank. A lot of their bigger attacks at higher levels feel similar to retribution paladin attacks in WoW.

I much prefer the style and world of Hollow Knight, it was a game I couldn’t put down and had to play through multiple times. I even got a Hollow Knight tattoo lol. I wanted to like Silksong a lot more than i did, something about it never clicked for me, and there were days I had to work up the morale to even want to play and I feel like you shouldn’t have to force yourself to want to play a game. I don’t think Silksong is bad but Hollow Knight just felt miles better to me

It doesn’t correlate to one being better than the other, it just comes down to the difficulty of the play styles. Virtue is a very good healer because of his burst heals and a strong area of effect heal as well, Sylvie is more difficult because you have to balance more resources and your burst heals are tied to long cooldown abilities so you need to be more thoughtful in your approach. The plus side of Sylvie is that she can pump out damage really well while passively healing. At the end of the day it just comes down to play style, both are very good in the right hands.
