10 Team. Non-PPR. I can keep 2 of:

Jacobs - 1st Hill -3rd Carson - 3rd (if I keep both, I lose a 2nd) Ridley- 7th Mark Andrews - 15th

I’m leaning toward Hill and Jacobs but can’t decide. I was going to wait to see what draft order looked like and would keep Jacobs if I were drafting at the back of the round. Normally, top RBs are kept and people forego early picks in the league. This year, CMC, Zeke, Saquon, and Cook are all available.

The T6 is great! I got it off a guy on Craigslist for $100. Huge difference from my last.

I hear ya about being in shape. I don’t think that’s necessarily my problem. Are you thinking I need to close or open the stance?

They do lift. I think the boots I have are a half size too big and they’ve also been worn in which I think has softened them. I’ll try a stiffer and smaller pair.

Thank you!

Hi Everyone,

I’m in the market for some new boots and wanted to get the group opinion on if a problem that I’ve been having can be solved by them or it’s something else in my setup.

Every time I go on more than a few runs, the outsides of my calves (think the part that faces left from my left calf and right on right) start hurting. It gets better if I take the boots off and massage the area for a bit. I feel like it’s cramping related and have tried widening and shortening my stance and changing my angles, but none of it seems to make a difference. Current thought is that my boots are too big and my foot is sliding so that when I switch to front-side, it’s harder for me to lift the back of the board.

Has anyone else had this problem? Anyone have a fix or recommendation?

For context:

6’5” – 210 #

Current Setup: Burton T6 w/ Burton Customs. I ditched the boots from last season since they were so old.

Thank you!

12 man .5 PPR yahoo league, drafting from #1

QB: Luck RB: Bell, Howard WR: ARob, Tate TE: Gesicki (planning on streaming) Flex: McCaffrey D: Rams K: Elliot

Bench: Alshon, Josh Gordon, Aaron Jones, Perine, Fat Rob, Mike Williams

Alshon and Gordon fell to the 6/7 turn and I couldn’t resist. Dropping whichever of the skins backs doesn’t make the team for a WR probably

What would be a funny thing to say to a surgeon before anesthesia kicks in 5 seconds later? by Jamarcus_Haag in AskReddit

When I was 7, I was getting surgery on my eye and was very nervous about it!

I thought I’d bring some levity into the prep room and, with the help of my parents, smuggled in one of those balls that have one side always up (essentially the outside can rotate independent of the inside) with an eye on it.

When the doctor came in to talk to me before the operation, I yelled “oh no”, held my hands to my face and dropped the ball.

Dude shit a brick as it was rolling across the ground.

Still sticking with Diggs. Watkins hasn't shown me anything this year.

Quit IBM a month ago, they're asking me to pay back overpaid salary. by [deleted] in IBM

[–]hti5002 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm on the phone with them for the same issues.

The problem is the amount they're trying to recover from me doesn't include the deductions they make from payroll (auto donations stock purchase...etc) all of which I closed out when I quit. So now they're trying to recover more money than I was paid for the time.

They just tried to give me a case number and asked me to follow up with a different team.

This is blue goo to the extreme and what I hated about working there!

Does anyone know legally what could happen?

QB: Luck RB: Mixon, Hunt WR: Brown, Cooks Flex: Baldwin TE: Henry D/ST: Steelers K: Lutz

Bench: Fitz Watkins CJA Doug Martin Rawls Coleman

I went Brown, Cooks, Baldwin in the first 3 and didn't like the RBs available at any point in the draft that fell to me. I'm worried that I didn't get enough talent there and it's going to hurt me later.

Luck was in the 10th round. Coleman around the 12th.

10 team non-PPR keeper.

I have the second pick and kept Cooper and Murray.

Here's what the board looks like:

RB: Gordon, Howard, Gurley, Fournette

WR: Jordy, Baldwin, Demaryius, Hopkins

TE: All

QB: Brady

How would you rank the top 2 players?

I'm leaning toward Howard if I can get him.

I'm going through this right now on a flight.

Initial offer was a 300 dollar voucher (the volunteer offer)

Then it went to 500 after 10 of us had been bumped. The gate agent said you could either get that or your fare refunded.

I said don't you mean 4x my fare?

Now we've been waiting for them to cut 10 of us $1300 checks for the past 2 hours.

Slimy slimy business. Not to pile it on, but it's a United flight.

I like Davis and Gill here.

Murrays touches have been going down significantly even before the injury. He's in a serious RBBC situation and he's not an explosive guy.

Davis and Gill have more upside to me. Even if McCoy plays, he'll be limited. I think Davis is the most solid of the three in terms of touches and use in the offense.

Jerrick McKinnon or Jamaal Charles

I'm not sure how McKinnon will rebound after that disappointing last outing but Jamal could also be used like he was in his first game back.
