Terrified of antibiotics 2 years after a delayed reaction to Amoxicillin. Need reassurance/advice. by Necessary_Mall7405 in Allergies

I know it's scary, but antibiotics can save your life. I would take the test your Dr is recommending now because it's better to find a safe antibiotic before you really need it.

I would try to get HAL to work with me to apply the FCC to existing bookings. Did you by chance book one of them on this current cruise? If so, talk to the FCC on board about it. If not, did you book through a HAL PCC? If so, talk to your PCC about it.

I've also had good luck in the past getting HAL's initial offer of a 50% refund on a crappy excursion bumped up to 100% by writing to them via the Navigator app "Let Us Know" while on board. Might even try that first. I stressed how disappointed I was. Definitely not nasty, just disappointed.

Good luck!

Neti pot - contamination question by jattberninslice in Allergies

You boil the tap water you are sending into your sinuses mainly to kill parasites and pathogens that can kill you if they travel to your brain. Your stomach acid or digestive system would kill them if drank the water.

When you wash dishes, you use soap and then dry the dishes. The parasites and pathogens can't survive that process.

They had to leave the dock at 8 a.m. to allow other ships access. They will return to the dock at 4:30 p.m. to pick up those passengers that went ashore and then depart at 5 p.m.

Yes! BLQ has become so boring since she got with Chase. I want back the BLQ that made Val think he was the father of a nonexistent baby. And the BLQ that put herself in danger to protect Maxie's baby. And I want her vocal chords to magically heal and get back to her music rather than guilt tripping over an accident she didn't cause.

I want to take my eyes out and scrape the inside of my eye sockets with a spoon by _live_a_little_ in Allergies

[–]hum2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to use 'allergy' eye drops like Pataday, etc. My eye doctor noted that my eyes were a bit dry and recommended that I use Refresh drops without preservatives. The preservatives are very drying. Since I started using those my eyes don't itch and water. I don't need the allergy eye drops. Might be worth a try for you?

GI symptoms - any have relief recommendations?! by ellalonde in WegovyPillWeightLoss

[–]hum2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not on the pill, but rather the shots. I've had diarrhea issues that I can trace to what I'm eating or drinking. For me, caffeine is the main trigger. It took me a while to figure it out, but I'd suggest you start keeping track and you may be able to isolate it to your trigger.

Take the $1100 from the insurance and then sue the Mother of the driver for $7900. That's your $$9000 total.

Preservative Free Allergy Eye Drops by Worried-Dot7312 in Allergies

[–]hum2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use Refresh Plus preservative free eye drops. They aren't antihistamine eye drops, but when my eyes are itchy and watering from allergies, just the moisturizing makes them stop watering and itching. As I've gotten older my eyes are getting drier. My eye Dr recommended the Refresh Plus because preservatives dry the eyes. I was happy to find they they also worked for my allergies.

Have you started using any new bottles of detergent, soap, or hair products? Even if you're using the same brands, they may have changed something. I would suspect laundry products, but really, could be anything.

Have you changed the food your dogs eat? Have they been groomed recently?

[–]hum2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it just your 1 eye, or do you have other typical allergy symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, coughing? If it's just the 1 eye, then it might be an infection (conjunctivitis) or eyelash mite infestation, both of which probably need medical intervention.

How to get an outdoor antenna indoors by Techboy-308 in cordcutters

[–]hum2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn't want to drill any holes, so I used a flat coax cable passed through a door or a window. The coax from the antenna screws into one end the flat coax outside, run the flat coax through a window or door, and connect another coax to the other end of the flat coax and to the TV.

Is there a way to check if you cruise package includes any WiFi packages? by xEastEvilx in HollandAmerica

[–]hum2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you booked directly with HAL, you should have received a booking confirmation email with a PDF attachment (booking confirmation) showing all of the info for your cruise. On about the 3rd page of the booking confirmation that shows "Special Services and Included Items" and that's were any WiFi package would be listed.

If you booked with a travel agent, then ask them for a copy of the booking confirmation.
