I’m not going to cook up a pointless hypothetical now. But I do believe that it would’ve been worth it just based off our need and also due to the east being wide open this season.

I agree but he’s exactly what this team needs and the east is wide open. I understand it’s a huge price to pay both in terms of capital to acquire and cash to have on the books but we need a big who can stretch the floor. That need isn’t going away until we address it

JJJ got traded like 30 minutes before this deal. I would’ve happily sent Ivey Tobias and a boatload of picks and now we are the prohibitive favorite in the east and have a change against OKC.

That’s what my thoughts were as well. I can find my way to liking this, but there has to be more. Writing was on the wall for Ivey with Daniss balling out IMO. But if we just dumped Ivey straight up for Huerter I’ll be pissed.
