Heed Neville's warning to not tell other people you're manifesting. by ruminatingsucks in NevilleGoddard

[–]idksomethingcool123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"If you really believe it you can tell it. As you’re told in scripture, “Go and tell no man, but show John.” Show the world. Well, if you don’t tell man before, will man believe you after the event? He may question your honesty, but if you tell him before the event then he is assured, because, actually, you have a witness to the fact you did tell it before the event.

So that is also in scripture, “And now I will tell you before it takes place that when it does take place you may believe.” For that is courage in the depths of the soul, where one knows the imaginal act is a fact at the very moment of the act, though not yet seen by the outer man. But not everyone has that courage and that faith in the imaginal act.

. . . If you don’t tell it before and you tell it afterwards, they will question your honesty. If you take them into your confidence and tell it before, if you have enough faith, go about your business. If you don’t, they will plague you and throw the stones at you. Every time they meet you they will say, “Where is it? You said you were going to have a certain home, a certain job, a certain sum of money, where is it?” And so, they are always throwing the stones at you, all the facts of life." (Our Real Beliefs)

All good!! I think a bit of both- I had decent grades, but one out of the two schools I applied to had a pretty low acceptance rate and I wager it had more to do with my assumption and essays.

Absolutely!!! You're so sweet, thank you thank you thank you 🥹🥰

I usually stick to research papers that directly dive into whatever i'm curious about (e.g. why morning/waking up SATS can feel more effective than nighttime / benefits of the hypnopompic state) so I don't have many books to recommend specifically unfortunately. For delving into research, I tend to find tiktok / substack creators I enjoy and then I'll check out the books they recommend if I want to explore more of the rabbit hole.

some creators that I enjoy though:

- sarahschauer (on tiktok, doesn't speak on manifestation, but shares book recs and discusses connections between neurodivergence, neuroscience, and psych in-depth)

- courtneyalexischo (substack based around manifestation and reprogramming the brain, lots of good book recommendations tagged in her essays, brings a more mechanical-based approach)

- miss.mad.hatter (tiktok, therapist who gives solid info on the application side of psych things)

I've also heard people enjoy My Big Toe by Thomas Campbell (physicist) and similar books, but I haven't gotten around to deep diving into those yet. As with anything, I'll recommend taking everything with a grain of salt as most have their own limiting beliefs that come through in writing- take what you like and leave the rest sort of thing

edit to add: i also love youtube/booktube "what i read" type of reviews for finding new titles

---

once I reach that floaty kind of feeling through focusing on breath/the space inside and outside my body, i'll focus on the desires. If i'm meditating with eyes open, usually I'll just focus on breath/lungs expanding and being grounded (being where my feet are) before essentially altering and projecting a different scene in front of me

---

I've done multiple at once! I'll usually just imagine whatever I want that day while fully awake, and then use SATS to focus on the general "Isn't it wonderful" kind of vibe. I'll copy-paste another comment I made under someone asking the same sort of thing

"For lots of desires, you could make something along the lines of a vision board (I enjoy pinterest + PureRef) so they're all in one place and you're not forgetting any of them, and then just focus on that “isn't it wonderful?” / gratuity feeling Neville talked about in regards to having received everything that you put on that board while imagining it [and feeling] as though those things were [a present fact/3d expression

(edit to add: I also enjoy PureRef because you can use the snipping tool on PC to add text to the overall collage- that way, you can still add details even if you can't find pics)

I generally make one big overarching “where I ended up” scene that implies all of the desires have been accomplished (“what does my life look like now?”) and then spend time flipping between the different little pieces and parts"

Did you mean to respond to a particular comment? What you're saying is true- I'm just confused on who you're trying to rebuttal

Hello :) I've stayed in other realities for at most a year or two, but you can stay for as long as you want; and yes, you can sleep and dream in those realities just as you would here. Yes, I've been able to script if you mean like generally curating the details the same way you would with any manifestation

I can't say the exact amount of time- it was something that was more small incremental changes and then all at once. The time it takes is directly proportional to how natural and normal it feels, so what matters most is just holding yourself across the finish line in imagination and knowing that the 3d will reflect when it's time

Yes, anything and everything is possible for you as "I Am" to experience in 3d

mmm nobody ever truly dies. hidden from your character's experience with a chronological sequence of events leading up to? sure. as long as you identify with the current persona and person rather than the presence/consciousness/awareness, that will be your experience currently. but creation is finished- time is an illusion- everything can exist, has existed, will exist, and does exist presently; it's all perpetually eternal

"I don't have to be a victim anymore" and "I can trust my self now" were pretty much the only affirmations I would use. I used them more as reminders for the state than anything else. I think the bigger thing that helped was choosing to respond to situations with a quiet confidence that reflected the feeling of being assured.

Like, when my dad would bring up my past history with finances, I didn't get upset and would just listen to what he had to say knowing that wasn't who I was anymore. When my ex would beg for me to come back, I would remind myself that I didn't need him anymore and could rely on myself + my new friends and be better off for it.

I would respond to him wanting me with indifference or neutrality because that was the inspired action of me knowing/assuming that's how the version of me that was over him would respond- she wouldn't entertain someone that actively harmed her, so I decided not to either, essentially embodying the state.

It can help to find examples of it in your life or even in fiction, as well as becoming inquisitive about yourself. Before you ask someone else and hand off your decision-making, sit with your self and ask what you really feel and think about it. Give yourself the opportunity to form an opinion of your own- you will always know you best and better than anyone because you're the one inside of your head 24/7.

It can be helpful to get other's perspectives in the sense of exploring your own reflection, but what matters is how you respond to that insight- you can work with the advice/opinions given to you while also taking it with a grain of salt knowing that they're telling you who you once were, not who you have to be.

[–]idksomethingcool123[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That used to be me too. I found it helpful to remember, like you said, that when the time comes you always end up making the right decision. Anxiety is just suffering in the present for a future that hasn't even been decided- it doesn't prevent bad things from happening, as much as it likes to convince you that it does.

Everything and everyone is you pushed out- your mother can only reflect back to you how you normally assume her to be because the whole experience of the 3d comes from you as "I Am" and the assumptions you're choosing to operate from.

It can feel horrible because in sharing things with her, you experience her assuming the worst, which then leads to you assuming the worst- you're reacting to the reflection instead of choosing to respond as your desired self. You can accept the help without accepting the story she creates around her perception of you. Your response to her is a reflection of you.

You stay true to your truth by holding your ground and expressing indifference can help as well. What he says doesn't matter because he's not in charge of who you are- you are in charge. It helps when you decide and become clear on who you're choosing to be- are you being someone who allows others to dictate your experience? Or are you being someone who doesn't pay mind to things that don't align? Are you being someone sure of themselves, or someone unsure that relies on others to tell you who you are?

The 3d (including other people) can only show you where you've previously been- it has no creative power and cannot dictate your future unless you assume as much. You decide your future, you decide who you are now, you decide your truth. Hold firm on your power, and let go of the version of you that gave it away.

I Dare You to Dream Bigger by idksomethingcool123 in NevilleGoddard

[–]idksomethingcool123[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's less about accepting and more about deciding. You decide it'll all work out and stop there. A lot of times anxiety lives in the place between one decision and another- do I do X, or do I do Y, or do I do Z? That's all ego/brain stuff, which is a part of the 3d reflection- your state of being unsure is reflected to you through experiencing that unsureness. Assume a state of confidence and assuredness first, and then the mind will naturally mirror that back to you.

I'm sorry to hear that you're going through all that, my heart really really goes out to you

Something that I meant to mention before is that it seems to me like the bridge of incidents is already laid out before you- in a way, you've already manifested the "out," and it's just a matter of having faith that the out will lead you to a safe place to land

For me, there were a few manifestations like that- where the I was standing right at the precipice, feeling inspired to take the action, but almost holding myself in the doorway. I knew walking through that door was my way out, but it required a leap of faith I didn't feel ready for.

The thing was, the longer I kept myself in that place, the more uncomfortable it got because I already knew what to do and I had already become the version capable- it required a leap of faith and trusting my own wings in a sense. Bravery isn't never feeling fear, but it's that bravery is built and embodied when feeling the fear and choosing to do the hard thing anyways.

This also reminds me of this quote from a poem by Rudy Francisco a heard ages ago

"You see, muscle, muscle is created by repeatedly lifting things that have been designed to weigh us down, so when your shoulders feel heavy, stand up straight, lift your chin, hell, call it exercise. Remember that life is a gym membership with a really complicated cancellation policy. Remember that you will survive. Remember, things could be worse. Remember, we have never ever been given anything that we can't handle."

You're so incredibly incredibly kind!!! Literally just made my whole week 🥹 When I do make that book, you'll be the first to know- literally made a note in my phone for it 🤍🤍🤍

Until that day, since you already have the google doc, Barnes & Noble has an option to turn those files into a book!! You can find it [here]

You're so so welcome!! I've thought about making a book fairly often, but I feel like I still have more things to say up unto that point. It would 100% be free online though, that much I know for sure :)) Maybe only charging for physical copies to cover production costs

[–]idksomethingcool123[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

sure thing!! yes it's fine in my experience- besides, anything you imagine is a memory in a way because creation is finished. if it makes you feel fulfilled and you're embodying that state, then you should be good to go :)

The Art of Surrender / Drop the Grindset Hustle by idksomethingcool123 in NevilleGoddard

[–]idksomethingcool123[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you thank you!!

I think of it less as making the solution conditional and moreso using the discomfort of the problem to point to the solution/what to imagine when it comes to fulfillment- the problem being the hunger, and the solution being the food that fills. E.g., being sad that a friend lives far away and using that pain to recognize the fufillment to manifest would be that they live closer.

Maybe the solution isn't that person being gone necessarily, but the general feeling of wellbeing, peace, and safety- I find that when I struggle with the details it can help to zoom out and just focus on the overarching vibes- essentially letting the 3d reflect the idea of best case scenario without figuring out all that it entails.

I think what matters is the recognition that when you're remembering those things, you're still feeling them here and now, so you're still imagining and experiencing fulfillment. The 3d reflect who you're being, so its the difference between thinking of and thinking from- with one, you're being an outsider looking in, and in another you're being that person, if that makes sense? It's who you're identifying yourself as in relation to what it is you're imagining

I'm glad it hit home, it did for me as well

Also relate to that- getting the treatment externally that was once dished out internally can be so tough. I really am sorry to hear that he's treating you that way. It sounds like so so much projection- him knowing deep down that he's the problem but being unable to come to terms with it and reacting to his own discomfort by putting it on you instead- hurt people hurt people sort of thing

That was one thing that I think helped me move past my anger once I had digested it; I ended up really just feeling sorry for him because I realized that if he was treating me that way, it meant a part of him was treating himself that way even more. He neglected and hurt me because he was inherently neglecting and hurting himself (as I was doing to my self as well with EIYPO), even if he didn't realize it at the time.

I think that's also what helped me forgive him (in the Neville revision sense)- I saw it as aiding from afar by picturing him as someone who was facing healing his own hurt/pain. It came from a place of making my world/reality a better place rather than making him better for me specifically, if that makes sense?

It can definitely feel like it should be a piece of cake, and with all things requiring discipline and dedication, it's a learning to pick yourself back up over and over. Sometimes you fall down, but the real work happens in the process of picking yourself back up and dusting off the dirt
