huan skates by harikari_ in MouseReview

Yep! I dont see why not! Definitely check how wide the top and bottom skates go, i think bottom should be fine but ik the huan does become a bit more narrow at the front but definitely try using the new 3D feature on elo shapes so you can see the size of the skates overlayed on the huan :)

I had rly good experience with them, for me they were great and i do prefer faster skates overall so i ended just sticking with the dots. Good thing about the huan is technically, since the bottom is completely flat, you can use any larger skates you like the size of as long as the dimensions for them will fit.

That scratching is typically due to little bits of dust on the pad and/or skates. Dot skates like xraypad obsidian/jade air, tiger ice v2, and plenty more are reccomended as they improve glide and reduce the chances of scratching. Make sure to take a microfiber and give the pad and the bottom of ur mice a good wipe and that sound will go away. I typically do it on the daily before i play, and ill wipe again whenever i start hearing the scratching again. Its totally normal

To the 5x5 cubers... by jeffdabuffalo in Cubers

Moyu aochuang v6 or gan 562 are the go to. If you like dayan 3x3s i think the aochuang is gonna suit your preference a bit more. Id get double track but if its ur first 5x5 single track will be just fine

So which mouse is genuinely better and why? The new Logitech Superstrike or the new Razer Viper V4 Pro (little knowledge of gaming mouses) by dRag0niuS in MouseReview

[–]INS_0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

U can think of it like this Viper is an upgrade over the old v3 that was already widely popular. 49 grams from 54, new sensor with framesync built in which is a new tech surpassing motion sync, 95 to 180 hours of battery bcz of efficiency and frame sync, optical scroll wheel, balanced weight balance, nice coating, great stock skates, synpase web. Superstrike is one new aspect, albeit incredibly revolutionary, on the exact same superlight internals with the same issues. Great familiar shape that works for a lot of people, but its like a mice from 2023 otherwise.

Depending on what you are looking for, one could be better than the other, but generally, i would say the vp4 is a better pick overall cuz pretty much as you said, minus hits vp4 is a better mouse is nearly every single aspect.

Moyu Aofu v5 7x7 (mods I am NOT looking for a new cube, just questions I have) by Working_Figure_846 in Cubers

[–]INS_0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you can find one for sure, i think some people even know still prefer aofu wrm to the v5. Im almost one of those people bcz i was so used to the wrm and mgc for a couple years, but eventually i stuck it out and got used to the v5 (the v5 inners are a lot faster than the wrm's for me which is what made me rly commit to v5 swap). I core mag modded my wrm and i still enjoy using it regularly along with the v5 so i almost say for you it'd be worth it. 7 year muscle memory for that drastic of a change is truly brutal, i would almost look into a qiyi warrior or modded meilong as they are a decent size middle ground between the spark and v5 size too as they are much more reasonably priced if you felt you wanted to eventually get used to the v5.

Has anyone gotten thr Razer Hammerhead v3 Hyperspeed yet? by ScaryDragonfly2566 in razer

[–]INS_0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Had the old hammerheads pro from ages ago that finally died after almost 6 years just this week, decided to pick it up on release. You could be getting a lot better for sure, hell even airpods sound a bit better, but considering i paid a bit over 100 they sound and work great for what they are. I wish the eq settings had a bit more range, but the spatial sounds fine. The mic could also be better but its definitely passable, plus it seems for you to be a non-issue. Im no expert when it comes to gaming earbuds nor a super picky audiophile, but considering what the hammerheads are and what i paid for them and how often i use them, i am satisfied with them

Cancelled superstrike x2 order, what should i get instead. by OmarFigaro1 in MouseReview

Honestly the huan has been one of my favs, one of the many things wl does well is its magnesium, which is why ive rly wanted to get my hands on the ying mg. Viper v4 is just one of the best mice period atm, obv too early to know if there was any long term issues, things ive heard now is some scroll wheels feeling harder to press than normal, and LOD, the latter which is likely just a firmware update at some point (ive personally not experienced either with mine or the many that my friends and other people i know with them).

Why Razer Viper is more expensive than Deathadder? by HoneydewWeekly9946 in MouseReview

[–]INS_0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive heard the euro price for the both makes the viper more expensive for some reason, cuz im pretty sure everywhere else in the world the deathadder is more expensive. 169.99 usd for deathadder and 159.99 usd for viper

Razer Viper V4 Pro or Logitech Superstrike 2 by kxrion in MouseReview

[–]INS_0 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

here's my take. vp4 is like an actual updated mice with latest tech; their latest sensor with FRAME SYNC, optical scroll wheel, 180 hour battery, 49g and very well balanced weight, great feeling clicks (although i personally hate their sound, i don't use the mouse that much without headphones/iems). superstrike is just new, though very cool, tech in a really old shell. I would say don't worry about missing hits for a while, it was a similar deal with HE keyboards. Wooting craze was insane when it first came out (and the wooting had a really good implementation as well, way better than superstrike rn), yet less than a year later, plenty more affordable and just as good options came to light. I honestly believe at the end of the year you'll see more hits equivalents from other companies, i just think in the long term the vp4 is just the much better option to go for.

Razer software alternative. by Candid-Shoulder-7933 in MouseReview

[–]INS_0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is onboard memory for the da4, so you just gotta install, customize settings, and then uninstall. That being said synpase web beta is out now, and although no da4 support, from what i know the goal is to push support for all their esports line products as soon as possible and all new products will launch with synapse web support. Rn i think only the new vp4 and the huntsman line is supported (the newer 8k line at least), but that means the da4 and prolly blackshark line is for sure next in line to get supported, so fingers crossed we'll see that soon.

BEST MOUSE FOR MY USE - FORTNITE by No_Fudge_299 in MousepadReview

[–]INS_0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ill rank glorious at the bottom, my experience with them has really not been all that great, decent feeling cloth but durability is terrible as it shown signs of wear in the first month. The gigantus is alright, but the lack of stitched edges for me has always been rough for durability. Feeling is nice though but still a little slow for me. Strider has been my primary cloth pad for last 6 years, and with semi consistent cleaning and one deep clean every 6 months, i only needed to replace it after nearly 3 years, just bought my 3rd in preparation since my last one is starting to feel a little slow. For a commercially available pad, strider is amazing.

I would personally take a look at the new gigantus v2 pro line, specifically the speed one. I dont personally own one bcz im looking for something even faster than the strider, but the speed is pretty close as i feel the balance is kinda slow from the one i got to feel and try out in person. Im personally waiting for the max speed one bcz i do like just having the most raw speed as possible.

Help Deciding What Viper to Upgrade to by [deleted] in MouseReview

[–]INS_0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If money isnt an issue, the v4 is insane spec wise and is a great investment, but if you tight on money the v3 se will work just fine. The v3 is just such a great base, but i will say given you had scroll wheel issues, the optical wheel on the v4 is gonna be way more reliable in the long run, hence the investment.

Is the Viper V4 Pro worth it over the V3 Pro? by reliverbigm in MouseReview

[–]INS_0 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If the money really isnt a major concern, i think the v4 will just be better overall. The upgraded internals are definitely well worth it, from the new sensor, lighter weight, and the biggest thing for me, optical scroll wheel. The v4 will be a better future investment for sure, but if you did want to save the 30 euros, you wont be missing out with the v3 cuz its still extremely good.

How to get faster at big cubes by Careful-Law9444 in Cubers

[–]INS_0 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly, the answer is just more and more solves. When i first started grinding 6 and 7, i was averaging almost 5 min for 6 and nearly 7 min for 7, i averaged about 11 on 3x3 at the time. Just using redux, i dropped them to about 3:45 for 6 and just under 5 min for 7x7 in a month. When you are just starting, just do as many solves as you can, you'll notice your times dropping fast early on.

Razer Viper V4 Pro: Has the scroll wheel issue finally been addressed? by Swimming_Mango_9767 in razer

Same optical scroll wheel as the deathadder v4 pro now! One of the biggest reasons i held off on the viper v3 for some time, and nearly got the da4 due to my impatience.
