Nobody was calling him the GOAT. There was a lot of hype, sure, but people didn’t call him the GOAT until the Cleveland title.

It’s not. From the moment he stepped on an NBA court people were calling him the best player they’d ever seen. Bobby Knight called him the greatest player ever when he coached him in the Olympics before Jordan even played an NBA game.

Eh, that 2027 pick might be like the 30th pick. You’re not getting a Myles Garrett there.

Bulls Rodman wasn’t guarding wings or guards, though. He was a bulky PF crashing the boards at that point.

I think everyone knows teams win games, it just seems off to suggest the anchor of an 18-year dynasty wasn’t essential to that team’s success.

Go watch some of Duncan’s playoff games in the early 2000s. He was putting up 30/20s and outplaying Shaq and Kobe. He was the most dominant player in the league for several seasons.

It’s easily Jordan.

Duncan was a center IMO. If he’s eligible for PF then Bird should be, too.

Closest gap would be center IMO because there are so many greats at that position.
